No kidding , actually a pretty good prediction

Saying Patterson or Hopkins go @ 29, and they end up going 27/29?

Wizard.

no, he said the Patriots would pick one of them.

the Patriots had the chance to pick Patterson, and ran away from it.

I meant as far as predicting those two players' value and where they'd go in the draft.

And who knows, the Patriots very well could have been thinking about Hopkins @ 29, but decided to trade down after Houston took him.

Laughing

Also, I actually think Hopkins and Dobson are pretty similar. If Dobson played at Clemson and Hopkins at Marshall, I think their draft positions would be reversed.

Theres very lil chance I would be willing to take a WR in the 1st and 2nd round. That scenario would likely need to included Percy Harvin being traded for a 1st rounder in 2013 for me to consider this.

it worked out just that way...

That was a quote from January, and I always saw Harvins value as at least a 1st rounder regardless what was being said in the media.

I think Hopkins will be a #2, and he will be a #2 in HOU
I had Patterson ahead of him, so I was happy to see Hopkins come off the board to HOU.

I wouldnt have used 23/25 on Patterson, my picks would have been exactly Floyd/Rhodes, and even if these players did not fall my selections would have both come from the defensive side of the ball, likely some combination of Björn Werner/Sylvester Williams/Alec Ogletree/1 of the Mississippi State CB.

I just thought the defensive side of the ball needed the upgrade and the value was going to be their, this became even more evident with the ridiculus on OL.

After the trade up, before the actual selection, the only 2 prospects I thought were going to be "worth" it for us was Patterson or Ogletree.
