I think its possible

He doesn't strike me as a guard. If anything he could be groomed as a backup tackle. The other two interior lineman we drafted have a chance to start at some point this year, IMO.

I like the fact that they're addressing depth on the O line before it becomes a top priority. It allows for the development of players that normally wouldn't be given a chance. It's just an extra chance to find a player who can end up contributing to the team. It's better than our hand being forced when the need is glaring, and overpaying in FA, who most likely will underperform.

That's what I'm talking about! We don't need Mods here, we can moderate ourselves. I can see no way that any of us would abuse that power.

P.S. anyone who disagrees with me...

I wish Reggie was my dad instead of you!

Faulk's Weaknesses
Heavy feet and tight hips. Leads to poor posture. When mirroring laterally, hands go all over the place, flailing, has balance issues. Gets jolted and shuffles back with head down. Doesn't get a consistent inside latch. On the ground too often, waist bender versus counter moves. Doesn't get enough push for his size when run blocking. Struggles to recover.

A lot of that can be coached up. If he can improve his strength, along with coaching, I can certainly see him being a better back up option at tackle than someone currently on our roster. I don't know if they will try to convert him to guard though, I don't think he will be able to step right in to either position, maybe a practice squader.

Now that we've signed Rashad Butler, it's more likely Faulk will be headed to the practice squad. Hopefully Faulk or Butler can beat out Cousins.
