Apparently the Steelers' defense was also unaware. Maybe this will refresh your memory:

Lest anyone else is having memory issues, here is another reminder of what Tebow did for the Broncos:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=Zw_TI-hw9LM&feature=endscreen

Viewers of this video may also notice the score of the first game posted at the bottom of the screen: Packers 33 - Vikings 27. The GLARING stat: Ponder 13-32, 219 yards, 2 TD's, 2 INT's. Tebow leads his team to a win, and Ponder throws the game away with 2 ugly int's.

You mean losing by 6 points against a 15-1 Packers team in his first career start? Or at least I think it was.

GMs of 32 teams are having memory issues.

Call a doctor!

I forgot, too! What was Miami's record that year? Oh, I can look that up.

2011: 5-11

5 Ws: Buff (2), Oak, KC, Wash.

IIRC, those 4 ^ teams records were substantially sub-.500.

While a comeback win against Miami is impressive, it isn't as impressive when considering Miami's record that year.

The playoff win against Pittsburgh was impressive.

But this wasn't:

http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2012011400/2011/POST19/broncos@patriots#menu=highlights&tab=recap

9-26 136 yds,
5 rushes for 13 yds,
sacked 5 times,
1 fumble, lost.

d'oh!

30 NFL teams GMs must have forgotten about the playoff win vs. Pittsburgh after the playoff loss to NE.

I would rather sign Matt Cassell to a full guaranteed 100 million dollar contract extension for the next 5 years than see Tebow play QB for the Vikings.

Yeah Ponder throwing two picks in his first game seals it. Tebow is GOAT and Ponder is the worst QB in the league.

I seem to remember Ponder's first pass being 60-70 yards and inches away from being a touchdown. And about half of the throws he completed were a 3rd or 4th and long conversion. His stats may not have been pretty but it was his first game and he was the reason he were even in contention against the soon-to-be 15-1 Packers.

Even Mike Ditka thinks Tebow can make it in the NFL as a QB:

Well, well, well. Thirty one teams in the league don't want Tim Tebow on their roster. There IS one team that just signed him however. They are the ones who have Tom Brady as their starting QB, and three Super Bowl trophies in their possession.

By comparison, the Vikings have Christian Ponder as their starting QB, and zero Super Bowl trophies.

When thinking about the Tebow signing in NE, I just keep asking myself one question: "What does Bill Belichick know that no one on our coaching staff has been able to figure out?"

Tebow will sit on the bench as the third QB. Regardless of the Pats past success, Tebow will likely be irrelevant to any future success.

Not sure what Ponder has to do with the four super bowls lost in the 1970s. Pretty sure Frazier wasnt around back then either, as a coach.

BB has made plenty of mistakes.

You're making too much out of a guy who will be the 3rd QB and will only see the field if both Brady and Mallet go down or in a gadget capacity.

BB was just doing Josh McDaniels a favor.

I think if anyone can convince Tebow to change positions it's Bill. I honestly that's the only way he stays in the NFL and I don't know why he wouldn't. He'd be a productive player at TE or Fullback.

Uncle Buck...

the Patriots signed Tebow, yes. but he is yet to accomplish anything with them, and many of their fans feel he'll be cut eventually.

how does that relate to Tebow?

Think
