What happens when Stew inevitably goes down again to injury? We roll with Tolbert and Barner? I wonder how that will go.

Thank God for Cam Newton.

I do like that he was talking about adding another tight end though. I liked our offense better when we paired Olsen with Shockey.

Tauren Poole and Armond Smith at RB also

If we cut Williams, I could see one of them making the team, hopefully we can stash the other on the Practice Squad.

finally a GM who knows how to handle the running back position. why take a guy in the first round when you can get just as much production from an udfa or a late pick?

I realize that this is a bit old, but I could not resist.

You mentioned 2 reserves. Tauren Poole will probably be on the PS.

That is depth.

What if Olsen goes down? Gross?

He's saying that you're worrying about depth at RB, our deepest position by far, when true ares of concern would be LT and TE where we have no one.

Okay I understand what he's saying now.

I'm not saying those spots don't need upgraded depth and I'm sure we will. It's only May, I'm sure we aren't going into the season that thin.

Im talking about the RB situation. I could rely more on Olsen and Gross much more than Stewart to stay healthy. Barner is no sure thing and I'm not sure about how Poole would hole us. I guess I'm not very excited about the thought of Mike Tolbert being the next guy up but I guess he's capable of holding the fort down.

182 carries in 2010 and 121 in 2011. I'm pretty confident he could do a solid job carrying the load.
