8-8 is definitely doable for KC... they have a ton of talent and would have been 5-6 wins better with a competant QB last year... with Alex under the helm KC will be in the race for a wildcard spot

I don't know, SoCal. At the rate Dallas is going, they could really be headed for a "crash and burn" season. They are doing NOTHING right and fans aren't happy. Jersey sales were mentioned not long ago and not a single Cowboy's jersey was in the top 10, if my memory serves me--if not, it wouldn't be the first time!

I think 8-8 should be fairly attainable given that schedule. That team had way more talent last year than any 2-14 team had a right to. They were really just lacking a quarterback; i think even a league average quarterback would have given them 6-7 wins. Alex will provide that. The front office there has made some bizarre moves at some points, but nothing that would impede their talent so much that they are awful. I expect 8-8, possibly 9-7. That defense will be better than people think, so games like Indianapolis and San Diego are definitely winnable just in case they slip up in other games.

I think people are really underrating the cowboy's draft. Frederick will be a very good C for a long time for them. Escobar and Williams were great picks to help our Romo. BW Webb should make a good nickel corner and Holloman was excellent value in the sixth. The Cowboys will be fine. I mean, I'll be rooting for them to miss the playoffs again, but they'll be the same old competitive team they usually are.

And you really shouldn't judge how a franchise is faring by the number of jerseys they sell. That's just... weird. Laughing

I didn't quite get all the hate on the Frederick pick. Okay, was it the best "moneyball draft value"? Probably not; but the guy is going to be a very good, solid starting center for 10 years. Will anyone remember that he was a first round pick when people had him pegged as a late second/early third round pick? I mean, that kind of production and help should always be the goal of the draft, there have been top 10 picks where I'm sure teams wished they would have reached for a projected third rounder in the first rather than going with the guy they drafted lol. I mean, Frederick had to be one of the top 5 safest non-bust picks in the first round in my opinion.

I have them beating Cowboys, Titans, Raiders, Browns, Chargers, and Colts. So 6-10.

Read carefully. Jersey sales was a validation of fan dissatisfaction, nothing more, nothing less. Rolling Eyes

I agree, they probably won't make the playoffs, but they are still a solid team. I'm not sure about jersey sales, but from watching their home games on TV, their home games seem pretty boring for such a gaudy stadium. I barely hear any cheering going on, and it just seems dead in there.

I think they sweep the Raiders, who only have a couple people returning to that defense, and are questionable at best with their QB position. They should be able to take care of the Bills too, who currently have Manuel and Kolb at the helm.

Back to 8-8!
