We've reached the boring part of the offseason with nothing much going on. I saw this a few months ago on the Jaags forum, and thought it could be a way to get some conversation going.

Here's the rules:
Quote:
**please read the instructions and information before you make your vote**

You guys should know the drill by now

But here are a few changes:

-If you vote, PLEASE in turn post in thread 1) Who you voted for 2) Who you would like to be added to the next poll

-Thread is open to discussion about anything pertaining to the rankings. You may respectfully disagree with someone's selection, but please do not "bash" or criticize someone for making a selection. I would like each selection to be made purely off of opinion, no pressure

-If you are a fan of another team just dropping by, feel free to submit a vote or join the discussion. Outside perspective is always welcome

-I will keep this going until we 1) Complete a 30 man roster 2) or interest drops off to the point where the process loses its function, in which cases the amount will be rounded off. At the end i would like to get this stickied as the official 2013 Falcons player rankings

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Nevermind, figured it out. Is this ranking by importance to team success or skill?

I voted Charles Johnson. He's more proficient than anyone else at their position, and I think his performance has had as much impact on our team the past 2 years as anyone except Cam (positional value reigns supreme there).

Next on the poll...probably either Dwan Edwards or Brandon LaFell.

Charles Johnson. He has been the best defensive player on the team 3 years straight with only 2012 being the season that was ever in question (Hardy).

Also, same question as above. Is this more of who is the better player (better at their position vs. other) or who is more important? Anyway, I'd add DeAngelo Williams next.

I voted for Cam. Without him, our offense is nothing; he makes it tick.

Cam is our #1 man. He's the majority of why we have a offense and without him, we can can't score many tds

Voted for Charles Johnson simply on skill. We have quite a few players that are borderline elite, but since the drop-off of Smith, CJ is the only Panther's player you can make a serious argument for as "elite."

Went with CJ. Dude's a beast. Plain and simple. Maybe top 5 at his position. Lots of tackles (and TFLs), sacks, and he started getting into the FF game this past year.

Nominate DWill I guess.

I still don't understand the way we are evaluating the players for this list.
