Even though Milliner wasn't a pressing need grabbing him definately upgrades 2 positions. We get an upgrade at our #2 corner as I think most people expect him to be better than Wilson, and we get a giant upgrade at our nickel corner since Wilson is a big upgrade over Lankster and whoever else might have lined up there.

Don't know if you guys have seen this yet; but here is an awesome sports science episode (they're all awesome, but this one particularly so) on Dee Milliner.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rQ81bZV7TY

The guy has crazy acceleration, that can make up for alot of error fast. Which is going to be especially important as he's learning our defense.

Yeah, I was gonna bring this up because I saw it on thejetsblog.com. He is the 2nd best CB they tested too, just ahead of Cro. Pretty nice we have both of them.

That video led me to the somewhat awkward SS episode when they tested the effect of sex on a woman's sports performance.

The science was pretty cool, but there was always a slight awkward undertone the entire show. Laughing

I believe this was a great pick based on value for a team trying to stockpile talent instead of chasing after positional needs like mike T. This team needs more talent, period.
Even more so, this position was of great need to the jets than you think. Because Anotonio is starting for good now and is the leader of the secondary, it is imperative that we surround him with talent as the fact that I'm calling him a leader in the first place can be put into question.
And who would have been starting at nickel? The only options we had were okay overall. I actually like Kyle Wilson as a player, even though his ceiling is limited. He's a better option at nickel with plenty of experience there.
Reaching for a guard is not what the Jets should have done and trading up for Tavon would have been ridiculous. They just got the best players available and they will contribute very soon.

@KristianRDyer: Hearing from sources that there is optimism that Jets sign Dee Milliner soon, possibly before the start of training camp. #NYJ[/img]

I hope we can get him signed tomorrow. This is one quality I hope he doesn't share with Revis.

Today is the day to get Dee Milliner signed. No reason why any rookie to go into camp unsigned with a rookie salary scale in place. Let's get it done. I am looking forward to seeing him play next to Cromartie.

I know he will sign sometime soon most likely, but it is pretty annoying that he hasn't already. Please don't be another diva.

He'll be in camp soon, I'm sure. You can't exactly pull a Crabtree anymore.

If he wants to act like Revis, he better play like Revis. Then were all good.

His first season is going to be rough. He missed a lot of time because of his shoulder and now missing TC because of this hold.

I have to keep reminding myself to lower my expectations for our DB's this year.

Is this a fight over offset language (the thing where a player may get paid double over if cut and picked up by another team)
