Love this pick too. Big hitter and they say he plays faster than he times. Leader on the field who will be able to learn from a future HOFer. Great addition. |

I like this pick, even though i wanted Arthur Brown. For a "big hitter", I do like that he does wrap up on his tackles. His ball skills seem to be average at best, but that's already better than what Quin brought to the table. _________________ "You may all go to Hell, and I will go to Texas."

Missed on Arthur Brown but may have just lucked into something more advantageous. Love this pick. As the 3rd safety he brings another hammer to the defense. Solid as a extra pass rusher. Decent in coverage but has the ability to change the game. Can line up in the slot or on TE's. Bernard Pollard with coverage ability. excellent on field presence. A Leader.
This is the pick that has me the most excited from this draft class |

I love the tenacity with which he plays, and he is a little excitable and arrogant on the field, but aside from him flexing on Ellington, I didn't see too much trash talking. I'm a little worried about him being penalized since he does go high relatively often, but I think that can be coached, or at least fined out of him.
He played KOR his sophomore season, so it's good to know that he'll have experience with ST, and will likely get quite a bit of time there for us this season, and until he's a full-time starter.
It's very possible that we would have taken Arthur Brown if the Ravens hadn't traded up to steal him from us. I would have really liked Brown on the inside, but I am still really happy to have Swearinger. Clemson and South Carolina were two of my favorite teams to watch this year because of their offense and defense, respectively, so it's nice to have two of the best players from each time playing for the Texans next year. |

The thought of Bernard Pollard with coverage abilities has me very excited! _________________
