Wonder if Alex Gonzalez has ever been used as a pinch-runner. Laughing

All this guy does is throw fastball after fastball. He'll be figured out before long barring learning how to throw more than one or two pitches.

You must of missed the 5th inning when Shelby was throwing all curves.

Yah, keep telling yourself that. There is a reason he was considered a top ten prospect in all of baseball for several years and it's translating to the MLB now...

Thank god we won't get the Crew/Card game tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait until this series is over and we won't have to see these guys again until August. I have no clue what it is about playing them but they've had our number since 1982 and I'm sick of it. I might find something else to do on Sunday afternoon too. Razz

OMG someone said something negative about a Cardinal. Not surprised to see Cards fans in the thread. Laughing

Welcome to the world of playing the St. Louis Cardinals...

Oh the beauty of being a fan of the Cardinals.
I have to say, I'm kind of jealous. Life would just be so much easier if I was a Packers and Cardinals fan. Laughing
And the Lakers. How convenient. Laughing I'm guessing he's a Duke fan for college basketball and an Alabama fan for college football.

Surprisingly no. Not a huge fan of NCAAB, and College Football I'm a Sooners fan. Cardinals and Sooners are geographically tied, and my old neighbors were Packers fans when I was really young, so naturally I gravitated to them. The only "random" team I support is the Lakers.

I more or less found it amusing. Getting defensive was the last thing on my mind.
