Among Eastern Conference starting playoff goalies coming into tonight: (playoff stats)

Goalies most likely to give up 5+
Carey Price: 16.7%
Marc-Andre Fleury: 9.1%
Henrik Lundqvist: 8.9%
Tuukka Rask/Craig Anderson: 7.1%
Evgeni Nabokov: 5.3%
James Reimer/Braden Holtby: 0%

Keep in mind Reimer and Holtby have a combined 16 career playoff starts, and that despite Nabokov having more than triple Price's playoff starts (76 vs. 24) they have the same number of games giving up 5+, and that doesn't include empty netters.

Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Islanders win tonight. If the Islanders don't take both games in New York though I have a tough time seeing them winning the series. They can win both games in NY, it just won't be easy. The Penguins are 5-3 at Nassau Coliseum in the last 3 seasons.

I still can't believe that we are going to give away Luongo for nothing in the off-season and keep this [inappropriate/removed] forward core together. Also, you knew that Edler and Bieksa were going to do something stupid in OT. I'm not just raging about this loss either. This team needs some significant changes for next year.

There's really no choice but to take what we can get for Luongo. One of Gillis' numerous mistakes over the last couple years was clearly overvaluing Luongo. He's still a top 10/15 goalie, but nobody is going to pay top dollar when he comes with that contract.

As far as the forwards go... I'm done with the Sedins. The constant disappearing act in the playoffs is bad enough. But now they're consistently a liability defensively. Let them play out their last year, and move on.When the offseason rolls around there should be no untouchables on our roster besides Schneider & Kesler.

Buy out Ballard & Booth; trade Luongo; and move Edler for a top 6 forward.

Defenses have adjusted playing against the Sedins, more of a zone concept in team's defense mentalities rather than chasing around one Sedin or another like headless chickens and serve them open spots on a platter. The Sedins look lost but again, that's what playoff hockey is all about, being able to reinvent your game and make things happen

The Islanders are a better team on the road, though. Hopefully they party like it's 1993.

Oh and I never thought I'd say this, but Okposo and Bailey are carrying this team right now.

Bad news: Rangers have played like crap. Offense is laughably bad today and PP still not effective at all.

Good news: Hank has been good and we are tied 0-0 in spite of how we have played so far.

passed out after 38 hours or so of being awake while the canucks were up 1 with just a few minutes left... i guess i'm kind of surprised they choked. don't think that series is over even though they dropped both home games.

ot is about to be wild in this nyr/washington game. lundqvist has been awesome.

That was 8 minutes of pure dominance by Washington. You could see that goal coming from a mile away.

they even had the best scoring chance when they were shorthanded at the start... when fehr stole the puck and del zotto (i think) went diving in front of the net i think they were shorthanded at least

We were so awful today. Hank kept us in in it all game. If not for him, we deserved to get blown out. Despicable game from the rest of the Rangers and McDonagh caps it off with a stupid delay of game penalty.
