Get in those all important 12 month early mocks, everyone!

And as always, if you have a mock that you think can spur good discussion, feel free to make a new thread with it.

Its way too early but here's a mock 3 rounds based on three possibilities:

Blaine plays horribly 1:
1. Teddy Bridgewater QB, Louisville
2. Jackson Jeffcoat DE, Texas
3. Christian Jones OLB, FSU

Blaine plays horribly and the team goes defense first:
1. Jadeveon Clowney DE, South Carolina
2. Anthony Johnson DT, LSU
3. Stephen Morris QB, UM

Blaine finally shows his potential:
1. Kyle van Noy LEO, BYU
2. Lache Seastrunk RB, Baylor (assuming MJD is not a Jaguar)
3. Christian Jones OLB, FSU

Not right now because I want to see how this draft class plays out. I'm not quite sure how much confidence I have in Branch plus Babin is getting older so for me the pass rush is still the most important until proven otherwise.

I am only listing first round candidate's that I would like to see.
DE/LB Anthony Barr
CB Bradley Roby
QB AJ McCarron
WR Sammy Watkins

I'm hoping for a better than top 6 finish

Not a chance. I honestly think our DBs are set til we need to replace Lowery. Gratz has done well and will learn. Between McCray, Blackmon, and Ball...I think we should be fine.

Priority has to be on the offensive side of the ball.

I've been struggling with this myself IMO

1. QB
2.Leo
3. G/C
4. RB
5. LB

Easley isn't lasting until the third Sabo. Late first/2nd Rounder IMO

I think CB is definitely still a need, but we have so very many needs, and if we can continue to mine 'scheme fit' guys like Gratz out of the 3rd round and later, along with getting some budget guys in FA, it's a need, but maybe not a 'priority need'.

I would agree with this. We may have to find one at the top of the third like we did with Gratz if we want one that come in and start day one, but we should be able to find one in the 4th or so that can be groomed as a nickle/eventual starter.

So many needs on this team, and it's going to be hard to find enough good players to fill them all.

We still have a need at QB, RB, G(??), C, LEO, 5-tech(??), DT, OLB outside of CB. Then we still need depth at a lot of positions. Given we only have 8 picks (and probably won't get much in compensation picks), even if we hit on everything, we probably still will have some needs that go unfilled.

QB and LEO should unquestionably be the top priorities and need to both be addressed in the first three rounds (though I guess LEO you could stretch to the top of round 4 if someone falls, but you're not expecting someone who can actually come in and play well their first two years at that point). Then the other first three rounds, you've got to plug in someone at the other positions. If you go strictly by need, I think you probably have to go RB, interior OL, DT or LB.

Outside of a QB and LEO, the need is talent, and that need is all over the field, yes, that counts at WR, OT, and RB...I don't even whom is mocked this year to us, outside of Teddy due to the pure talent need....Yes, we need a CB, and I think we could take one at the top of the 2nd round, with other options later in the draft, but if you want someone to come in right now and start, in the 2nd-3rd is where they need to come from.

We're definitely gonna need to add talent at RB for next year. That is, assuming MJD moves on to greener pastures, chasing either a last paycheque or a shot at a championship. Just hard to see him returning next season.

And outside that, we've got what...? Zilch. A few different backup options like Forsett and Todman if we keep them around isn't going to cut it.

I still think it's a shame we didn't grab one of the true RBs in the 2013 draft instead of an OW project. There were a lot of nice projects available through the mid to late rounds, could've had a year of development under their belts. And from what i've seen so far, i'm not at all enamoured with this year's RB draft class at this point.
