I would have liked to sign Joseph Fauria, TE, UCLA, and Da'Rick Rogers, of course.

Most we know of but not this one...

Quote:
Oklahoma cornerback Demontre Hurst

Hurst started all 13 games at left cornerback last season and was named All-Big 12 second-team by the conference's coaches after ranking fourth on Oklahoma's defense with 59 tackles. He had four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries but only two interceptions in 53 games over four seasons with the Sooners

Hurst is undersized and limited to the nickelback spot but he was pretty productive at Oklahoma with 31 PBUs in his last 40 games at the school...tough as well...if he stood out on special teams he could have a shot of making the roster.

If this is true, it's a very smart move.

That's some crazy explosion and short area burst.

That's impressive, but can he jump out of a pool?

With that burst, I'd bet he could. After that whole nightmare with Gilbert, I'd rather just watch game tape though, haha.

Haha I'm glad he is getting a shot and I am also glad he is not Gilbert

Yes. It would be great if we could stash Mannelly's replacement on the practice squad or use him on special teams.

I actually just interviewed the guy we used last year as a camp body for LS last week.

The 49ers just signed Lawrence Okoye, that discus thrower from England. He's never played a snap of football in his life, but my god, what a genetic freakshow! I wish the Bears had picked him up...he won't be good this year, but those measurables are off the charts and his quick learning of discus to the point where he's setting records shows he has work ethic and a willingness to learn.
