I have my own prognosticator lol. I bought a box of 2013 Leaf Metal Draft football cards. It comes with 5 autographed cards. First card - Geno Smith. 2nd card - Manti Te'o. 3rd card - Da'Rick Rogers... The other 2 cards were HS players who are just entering college.

First off, I definitely got my $90 back Laughing and second, I'd be perfectly happy with those first 3 picks.

You a collector? I buy cards here and there. Got quite a big Dareus collection.

My buddy just pulled a Russel Wilson redemption auto and Andrew Luck auto /25 Shocked

Very nice. Yeah I've been collecting since I was a kid, and just never stopped lol. I've probably got over 50,000 cards total, between baseball and football.

I've pulled some good stuff over the years. Pulled a Sam Bradford rookie jersey/auto a couple years ago 13/15. Pulled a Red Grange card on like '05 or '06 with a piece of leather helmet. I actually have a Marshawn Lynch rookie patch 2/5.

I actually try to collect auto cards of Bills rookies every year. Glad Spiller is coming around, because I bought a bunch of his jersey/autos pretty cheap when he wasn't doing too much Laughing

I do the same. I usually buy at least 5-10 autos of each rookie. Started 2 years ago so I'm not too deep into my collection yet.

Glad Spiller worked out for us & you Laughing

And I thought my 10-15k was a lot, haha. I actually recently started collecting again after a 15 year hiatus. Funny how much has changed in the hobby.

It's pretty crazy now. Back in the day finding a top rookie card was a great pull. Now, if it doesn't have an autograph or at least a relic/jersey/patch, it's pretty much a "common" card, regardless of who it is. So strange that a decent/good autographed rookie today is worth so much more than a HOFer base rookie. I mean, overall. There are older guys whose cards still hold a lot of value, but in general, the stuff today is just so much higher priced.

I'm going to have to go through my cards again here pretty soon. It's been a while since I sat and went through them.

Yeah, it's definitely crazy. Since when did Upper Deck lose it's NFL license? Why does Panini have a zillion different sets? haha.

Yah I am into it as well, sold my most expensive piece, a National Treasures Adrian Peterson RC/Auto patch #/5 to buy new tires for my truck, but I still have my pride and joy I will never get rid of, a National Treasures Cut Autograph of the late great Walter Payton #/34

didn't see the need for a whole thread for this, but it's gold Laughing

Stevie Johnson jokes about North Korea bombing AFC East rival

Quote:
Earlier this week, a photograph of Kim Jong Un emerged with background maps showing New York City, Washington D.C. and Austin as potential long-range missile targets, part of the North Korean leader's latest pattern of escalated rhetoric and hostility toward the United States.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson jokingly suggested he add one more destination to that list Wednesday night.

Can someone explain why Austin would be a target.? Isn't it just a college town ?

I know this is supposed to be TABT but, I mean come on ESPN, Jim Kelly is in the HoF too, why doesn't he get more than a 20 second mention on your 30 for 30 special?

Didn't really want to start a whole new thread, and even though this is technically Bills talk, I'm putting it here anyway:

Bills have released QB Aaron Corp, T Adam Grant, K Chris Koepplin and TE Joe Sawye.

So we're down to Kolb, Tarvaris, EJ and then Tuel the UDFA as our 4 QB's, before the season I see either Tarvaris or Tuel missing the cut.

Is it just me, or does NFL.com always feel like the slowest website ever?
