Blount has a productive season. 500 Yards and 6 TD's

IT'S OKAY TO HAVE SOME BLIND OPTIMISM GUYS.

Works for NBT, the Patriots will sign Moss before the season starts.

Oh c'mon. Blount is already on the team.

Not for long Laughing

You know I'm not the only one who thinks Blount won't make the final roster right? Laughing

Im with Billy

Me too. Blount is awful. Barring injuries to Ridley/Bolden, he won't make the team.

***Update***
Quote:
The value extends to Blountís contract, which was renegotiated to consummate the trade.

Blount was scheduled to earn $1.2 million in base salary with the Buccaneers in 2013, with additional bonus money, but the deal was slashed to $630,000 with the Patriots (and is reduced to $358,000, via a split, if he lands on injured reserve).

Blount can also earn a $50,000 workout bonus in New England.

With that type of contract, it furthers the line of thinking that acquiring Blount is a low-risk, high-reward transaction.

Oh Bill,

Makes me feel a lot better about this trade now. Pretty much cut his pay in half, and then in half again if he doesn't make the full season.

Low risk, high reward.

Just more reasons why he won't make the final roster, it will cost nearly nothing to cut him.

He is going to have to come into camp in shape and really work his tail off to make this team. If he wants it bad enough he will earn it.
