I think he could end up at FS this year for us. I think he has more of a future at SS though. He will definitely fit our defense schematically coming from Monte Kiffin's defense. He seems pretty instinctive. He reminds me of Kam Chancellor a lit bit.

We just don't have much depth at Safety.

with the lack of depth at safety for you gents, how do you see him panning out? Seems like a guy who might get some pretty big playing time as a rookie?

He'll definitely be given every opportunity to play this year. Hope he turns out good.

There's no doubt he'll be a day 1 starter, but I'm not so sure he'll develop into anything more than a strictly average safety. I think a lot of it depends on how he is used. If we can get an over the top guy to go along with him, and allow him to sit in the box and stuff runs/cover tight ends, he might surprise me. But if he is forced into coverage I think he'll struggle big time.
