Love his height. He doesnt look as slow on the field as his 40 time shows. Good blocker. Needs to learn to attack the ball better, and just have better technique catching a pass period.

Should be a very good #2 TE for us this year., and should only get better with TG tutoring him.

Can't disagree with any point. Love how he can make catches AND block well. If he can figure out how to create space and make easy passing lands for Matt, he will be well worth the last pick of the fourth round.

You can tell there is tons of talent there. He wont be 22 until June, so he probably is still awkward in that 6'8 frame. If he can get more fluid in catching the ball, and just more fluid with his body period, then he could be a beast.

ďItís going to be like being a freshman again," Toilolo said. "Hopefully I wonít get too annoying to him. Iím going to ask him as many as questions I can and shadow him as much as I can and learn from watching the best tight end to play the game. I canít explain how excited I am right now to be a part of this organization and learn from one of the best.Ē
Really excited to hear this. It will be crazy to have such a huge target at TE.

Once Toilolo gets a bit stronger and tougher, he could be pretty darn good. He's certainly got massive length, decent hands, and a good understanding of blocking techniques. Getting a guy like this with at least one year to train him up a bit is a nice gamble. Honestly, he may not be ready for the full-time gig in 1 year but I'm glad to see he's excited about learning from Tony and his opportunities with the club.

What he needs to work on:

1) Strength
2) Lower center of gravity on blocks (he gets knocked back and stood up a little too often)
3) Disengaging from the line on pass routes (struggles when impeded at the line)
4) Catching the low pass
5) Catching in traffic (stronger hands?)
6) More concise, quicker cuts on his short routes
7) Better on Yards After Catch

What he's got:

1) 6'8" with good hops and long arms
2) Good work ethic/attitude
3) Body type that could handle more weight without losing speed
4) Tenacious, willing, and experienced in-line blocker
5) Good leg drive on blocks
6) Ability to track and catch intermediate/long passes
7) Fluid athleticism with great balance for his height
8) Solid hands catcher, pretty good at not letting the ball into his body
