Greetings denizens of the Footballs Future NFL Draft Forum. As you are no doubt aware, we love the NFL Draft here at FF and this is our busiest time of year. This thread, which I will open Wednesday ~6:30PM EST for discussion, will be the home for the first round here in the NFL Draft Forum.
If this is your first time with FF during the draft, or if you have forgotten, this is our biggest day of the year. FF will become loaded with draft discussion and fans who are excited about their picks. With that in mind, here are some things you need to remember:
1. The Forum will slow down: Every year we get more and more fans who log on to discuss the draft, as such this forum become very slow. And so I offer you the following pieces of advice:
A. Bookmark any threads/forums you want to pay close attention to. The front page will likely revert from its normal look to a sleeker one and it can be difficult to find a thread or forum you are looking for. So bookmarking this, and other threads, will allow you to quickly browse key threads without taking forever to find them.
B. Be Patient. Sometimes things will take a little while to load, don't post over and over to try and make something show up. Make suure you take a moment and see if it appears
2. Please Follow the additional rules specifically to this forum.
A. Don't post the same thing in different threads. We want conversation but posting the same message on multiple locations were just drag down the forum.
B. Do not post pictures, gifs or memes. Pictures drag down the forum's speed. This goes double for spam pictures, IBL-images, cute cat pictures etc. These are not allowed generally on the forum, and are just annoying on draft day. I will delete images and pictures as soon as I see them.
C. Please avoid posting extra threads for every pick. I will have a running log of the first round picks here and there will be plenty of time to give out grades, have votes or go into detail about the players on each forum. We can have big announcements posted, but lets try to keep as much conversation as possible here in this thread.
D. NO SPOILERS- do not post twitter links or news stories about picks until after the have bee announced on the NFLN/ESPN. There will a separate thread for news, spoilers and updates, please use that thread for updates and twitter posts.
3. Follow the Forum Rules. This is not an option, or a suggestion.
Thanks everybody, and have a great draft! |

I love how the last 2 starting QB's for FSU were major reaches. I hope EJ does well in Buffalo though _________________

Probably one of the dumbest picks I've ever seen. Not only would he have been there in the 2nd, but he would have been there in the 3rd as well. You have the opportunity to choose ANY player you want in the first round, and they think EJ Manuel is there "gamechanger QB". What a joke. You pick the BPA, not some kind of spontaneous garbage.
Good pick by Pittsburgh. |

Classic Steelers getting a steal. Rest of the NFL should be ashamed. _________________
