1. CB Xavier Rhodes / 6'2" 210 / Florida State

Corey Webster is on his last legs. We can probably get another year out of him, but that's it. In a league where offenses are spreading the field, corners that can cover and tackle are important. The Giants like to invest in the secondary, and if Rhodes is there when we are on the clock, this would be a nice fit.

2. OLB Jamie Collins / 6'4" 250 / Southern Miss

With Umenyiora gone, Kiwanuka is likely moving back to defensive end. In addition to that, Michael Boley and Chase Blackburn are gone. Although the Giants have ignored the position in the past, those departures leave too big of a hole to ignore. Collins is one of those 3-4 OLBs that the Giants seem to like on the strong side (Sintim, Kiwi). He has nice size and can move well. With the read option coming to the NFCE, a linebacker that can move is valuable.

3. OG Brian Winters / 6'4" 320 / Kent State

Chris Snee is getting old and Kevin Boothe is back on only a one year deal. It's possible that the Giants take Warmack or Cooper in round one if they are there. If not, Winters would be a nice consolation prize. The Giants have shown interest in him by sending coaches to his workout. Haven't seen him play, but he certainly looks the part.

4. DE Devin Taylor / 6'7" 266 / South Carolina

This is one of my favorite sleepers in this draft. He didn't play up to his potential at South Carolina, but I believe he's the type of player that will be better in the pros. He has all the physical tools to succeed. He's huge and moves extremely well. With proper coaching, I think he can develop into a steal.

5. OT Reid Fragel / 6'8" 308 / Ohio State

Jerry Reese recently said that it's put up or shut up time for James Brewer. I believe the last two players he's said that about were Clint Sintim and Ramses Barden. It's basically a kiss of death. This is another player the Giants have shown interest in. He's long and has room to add some weight.

6. DT Lawrence Okoye / 6'5" 304 / None

A project that has never played football before. He was an olympic discuss thrower. He's only 21 years old, so still young and can learn the game. He has the body of a god, an if he ever figures the game out, he can be a force in the middle of a defensive line.

7. K Dustin Hopkins / 6'2" 193 / Florida State

After seeing what rookie kickers did last year in the NFL, I want one.

7. TE Jake Stoneburner / 6'4" 250 / Ohio State

His name suggests he smokes rock. But in the 7th round, that's a risk I'm willing to take.

Don't bother tuning in next week. This is how it's going down.

I doubt he makes it to us, it be really nice though.

As for your mock Gmen, very well done. Imo some guys are out of reach, but if this were to happen I wouldn't be complaining.

I love it. I love the Winters, Okoye, and Taylor picks as sleepers.

Almost that time boys...

Is anyone good in Fewell's scheme?
Why is he still our DC?
Why is he still employed?

Good mock overall. Not really high on Rhodes but Collins in the 2nd is great value.

Also I agree about Stoneburner. His last name does sound like he smokes rock...

Exactly. No point on wasting a first round pick that we will be booing out of town in three years bc Fewell will screw him up.

Replace Rhodes with DJ Hayden and I love the draft

I hate it when you hide your feelings.
