Sorry I don't have time today to format a beauty like Chris and Jrry, but, I wanted to get it down on paper in case it became 100% correct and I'm lauded as a soothsayer. So, here goes:

1.16 - Tavin Austin, WR
Tons of talk about him going top 10. I think its all a smoke screen to see if someone will trade up to take him. Its no secret that most teams want to trade down this year. Austin is the perfect player to use in that game, as he has many differing views on him, mostly due to his size. We get the guy we wanted without trading up.

1.22 - Alec Ogletree, OLB
A guy I like a whole lot. Yes he has some off the field issues, and even some on the field issues. He still represents the best linebacker in this draft IMO. If he's totally clean off the field, I think he goes higher then this. We luck out and get him at #22. Our defense is starting to look deadly.

2.18 - DJ Swearinger, S
Probably my favorite player in the draft period. Plays with such aggressiveness it will give players pause going over the middle on our defense. I feel he could play either safety slot and that is a great benefit.

3.18 - Brian Winters, OG
I feel Winters is right there after Warmack and Cooper as the best guard in the draft. I don't feel like Warford will be there at our pick in the second, and, I'd frankly rather have Swearinger there anyways. Winters could start day one for us, and that is not always the case with 3rd round picks.

4.18 - Chris Harper, WR
Just love this kid. Great hands, size, intangibles. One of my favorite WR prospects in this draft and it would be a steal to get him in the 4th IMO. Another guy that would certainly be in the running of starting day one.

5.18 - Duke Williams - S
Another guy I have started to like the more I saw of him. Great versatility and adds much depth to our secondary.

6.18 - Xavier Nixon, OT
A project tackle to help with depth on the outside. Could develop into an eventual starter and presents solid value in the 6th round.

7.18 - Rex Burkhead, RB
Just a guy I like a lot. Would come in and compete for the 3rd RB role with Ganaway. Versatile back with good strength and hands.

Whatever happens over the next few days, I'm ready to welcome some new Rams to the team! (unless its Lacy.. ) Laughing

Would definitely be cool with this. Im not as high on guys like ogletree and swearinger but i can live with em.

Ps. LOVE the Rex Burkhead pick!

Or, we might get substantially better on Defense. Smile

Nope. I prefer my option. Same would happen if we selected Lacy.

If we selected Lacy, I'd likely flatlyne myself on a alcohol binge. Ogletree, I'd be clapping. So would you next season when you saw him dominate.
