My final mock includes 1 trade. We trade pick 18 to Minnesota for pick 23 and their 3rd pick 83. Here is what I hope we do.

RD1, 23= Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina

RD2, 47= Justin Pugh, G/OT, Syracuse

RD3, 80= Bacarri Rambo, S, Georgia

RD3, 83= Brian Schwenke, C, California

RD4, 114= Andre Ellington, RB, Clemson

RD5, 151= Joe Kruger, DE, Utah

RD6, 185= Michael Williams, TE, Alabama

If we did not trade it would be S.Richardson instead of Williams at 18 and take away Schwenke and that would be my draft if we stay put.

I've taken it all in, and I think I know where we are going. This may not be what I WANT to happen, but this is what I think is going to happen.

Just remember that when you react.

First off, both Warmack and Cooper will be off the board by 15, and I dont think Dallas can afford to trade up, they need the 1st 3 rounds in order to get not 3, but 4 starters.

Trade Back: A team triggers a predetermined deal at 18. Dallas Moves back to mid 20s and get a 3rd this year.

(C)-denotes team captain

1. Eric Reid S (C) LSU-This is JG's guy, we've seen it before. JG was only at this pro day. He understand's the importance of an instinctive pro read Safety in Kiffin's defense. Eric Reid is that guy.

2. Justin Pugh OG (C) Syracuse-This guy is rising up boards. I dont see it. This G/C doesnt have the ability players like Warmack and Cooper do, but he is plug and pay at either position and fills a need while being selected in a good spot. This is where a player at this position with this skill set goes.

3a. Markus Wheaton WR (C) OSU-Patriots are very high on this guy, so he can be picked at with their 2nd. But there are about 7-10 WRs graded higher than him, which can move him to the 3rd rd. He is much more suitable as a replacement at #2 is Austin is let go or injured. Dwayne and Cole are slot WRs, which is an important role, but they just dont have all the skills to be on the outside effectively.

3b. La'Veon Bell RB (C) MSU-JG wants to improve the run game, with Pugh, and now Bell he has succeeded. Insurance behind DeMarco, he gives the Cowboys another tough RB that can take a chunk of the punishment off of DeMarco. This team has been too good at selecting RBs in the mid round to waste a #1 on one.

4. Bennie Logan DT (C) LSU-It's no secret that Dallas needs another DL to help with a youth movement in an aging line, and Logan will be given the time to grow into a prominent role with Monte Kiffin's defense. With Crawford, Lissemore, and Logan, the Cowboys could have their future on the roster already.

5. Gerald Hodges (C) PSU-This is my guy. Its possible hes gone in the 4th, but this is your replacement for Durant in the 4-3. Needs work in the run game, but can play the passing downs to take the pressure off of Durant in the meantime.

6. Lawrence Okoye DE GB-This will not happen. Just think hes worth the risk.

I would be ok with this draft. I think Eric Winston will also be signed by the team shortly after the draft.

All Players drafted have visited the Cowboys.

By Round, not going to try to guess exactly where:

1. Chance Warmack

2. Eric Reid *Trade Up*

3. Bennie Logan

4. Stepfan Taylor

5 & 6: Someone that hasn't been mocked to the team by anyone and is completely off all our radars. But I think the positions are WR & DE/LB.

What I think will happen. Not neccessarily what I want, but I wouldn't mind.

Players Dallas covets are off the board by #18, and they trade down with SF for 31 and 34.

1.31: Johnathan Cyprien, S
2.2: Terron Armstead, OT/OG
2.15: Travis Frederick, C/G
3.18: Bennie Logan, DT
4.17: Alvin Bailey*, OT/G
5.18: Nick Kasa, TE
6.17: Zac Stacy, RB

There's no way I'd trade completely out of the 1st round from the 18th spot without getting an additional 1st round pick in 2014.

And if we got their 1st, I would do backflips because thats 1st overall next year.

I would trade for a 1st next yr almost no matter what. To be in the Clowney sweepstakes is what it's all about next yr!

Well, first, second, or third. The Raiders and Jets stink about as badly as Jacksonville.

I believe Star and Jarvis Jones will go higher than people think. This isn't my ideal draft situation but what I think will play out. Vaccaro, Richardson and the top 6 OL are all gone. We trade down to pick 23 with the Vikings and grab a extra 3rd.

1st round: Tank Carradine - The Cowboys say the right things about re-signing Anthony Spencer, but I don't think the team is completely sold on him and that's why he hasn't been resigned to a long term deal. By drafting Carradine (who ran a 4.7 5 MONTHS after tearing his ACL) we get a player who can truly get to the QB. We also have ZERO depth behind Spencer and Ware. If one of them goes down we are in serious trouble. He gets to play in subpackages for a year until he takes over for Spencer in 2014.

2: Larry Warford - TRADE! Dallas realizes that Warford won't make it to #47 so we trade our 4th rounder to move up and take him. Cooper or Warmack didn't fall to us in the 1st but Warford isn't a bad consolation prize. With Warford we get a guard who can protect Romo and blast open run lanes for Demarco Murray.

3rd round: Barrett Jones - Another piece to the OL to help protect Romo. Jones had a foot injury and we are lucky to grab him here. He is Garrett's RKG mold.

3rd round: Bennie Logan - Depth on the DL. Could become a solid pro in the future.

5th round: Marcus Lattimore - Before the knee injury was destined to be a 1st or 2nd round pick. Depth behind Demarco Murray.

6th round: Marquise Goodwin - Depth at WR and a burner.

7th round: LB.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the draft, Winston is signed and Doug Free is cut. They will put their faith in Barry Church and Matt Johnson at safety in 2013.

Cowboys trades down with 49'ers (going for Richardson which reports indicates they are trading up for, or a WR). Cowboys gives #18 and recieves #31, #61 and #128 overall.
- Cooper, Warmack and Lotulelei was all gone so with the hope of Reid being avaliable they trade down.

1st round) Eric Reid, S
2nd round) Damontre Moore, DE
2nd round) Giovani Bernard, HB
3rd round) Travis Frederick, OG
4th round) Sean Porter, OLB
4th round) Jordan Hill, DT
5th round) Dion Sims, TE
6th round)Terry Hawthorne, CB

Only one of these guys haven't visited the Cowboys, and I could see this happen. I would be very pleased with a draft like this.. Not ecstatic, but very pleased.

- I'd wish that Lotulelei will be our pick at #18, but I just can't see him slide that long.. I'd be surprised even if he slips out of the top 5.
