I'm not gonna say that I want this guy by any means. We are obviously stacked at the DE position. However, Gettlemen came from the Giants who have used picks in the past for freak players like Tank even when they weren't a need (JPP comes to mind). Do you think this guy could be the pick at #14?

Not at 14, but if he slipped to the 2nd, he could be our pick there; especially with the chance that Hardy is going to walk after this season.

I've seen reports that he may go in the top 15. I'm not advocating we pick him up over guys like Johnson, Louteleilei, or Patterson, but we can't dismiss the chance that he could be our guy. Improve our strengths instead of fixing our flaws kinda mentality.

Meh. I mean, I know it could work out in the long run, but I'd be kinda bummed if that was the pick, honestly.

Eff it. I say we do it. Best pass defense is a pass rush, right?

I am fully against DE in the first 2 rounds of this draft.
We are set at QB, RB, MLB, and DE for now.

If the value is there, I'm on board. It's not a popular pick, but as we have seen time and time again; championships are won and lost in the trenches. With the way that Rivera has been utilizing Hardy and Johnson as a UT on some downs, another high caliber DE would not be a bad thing.
