Here's a couple of quick scenarios I thought up real quick.

Scenario 1

1st: Jarvis Jones OLB
2nd: Eric Reid S
3rd: Lev'eon Bell RB
4th: Kenny Stills WR
5th: Kevin Reddick ILB
6tha: Ace Saunders WR
6thb: Micah Hyde CB
7th: Earl Wolf S

Scenario 2

Trade back a few picks and pick up and extra 3rd.
1st: Cordarelle Patterson WR
2nd: Jamie Collins OLB
3rda: Shamarko Thomas S
3rdb: Jordan Poyer CB
4th: Montee Ball RB
5th: Josh Boyce WR
6tha: Niko Johnson ILB
6thb: Denard Robinson WR/KR
7th: Tony Jefferson S

I like 'em both. Not that big of a fan of Stills though in the first scenario but it's a draft that I would be fine with.

In the second I would switch one of your late round WRs with a different position. Still it's a pretty solid draft as well.

I like both in general, but I hate the RB selections in both drafts.

And Denard Robinson is a wasted pick. In the very late 6th, I probably wouldnt really care tho.

Like #2 better...also not huge on Stills as I think there are better in that range. he's fast, though, so I surely wouldn't complain.

I'm really on the fence with Ball. I think he's a durable guy that can tote the rock pretty well, but he just doesn't seem to have any "game breaking" ability to me. Kinda reminds me of a Shonn Greene type with maybe a bit more speed. Not sure that's a fair comparison, but one that sticks in my mind.

Who are your preferred RBs?

Just curious.

I'd go with DJ Harper from Boise State in 6th round for a change of pace back.

Haha....as Ive said in about 20 other threads, I dont really have any "preferred" RBs.

I would PREFER to sign Ahmad Bradshaw, not draft a RB at all, and wait until next year when there is a better crop of RBs.

If I absolutely had to choose....

1) Marcus Lattimore - If we could get him in the 3rd, Id have a hard time passing. Star potential is strong with him.

2) Eddie Lacy: I like Lacy, but I dont LOVE him. Wouldnt touch him in the first. Wouldnt hate him in the 2nd. Would really like him in the 3rd.

3) Jonathan Franklin: Adds a different dimension to our offense.

Is there any way we would have some cap room to sign Bradshaw after Colons money comes off the books?

It looked like we had enough to sign him, until we had to pay Saunders the extra money to match the offer. I wouldn't mind him but even if we do get him I still think we draft a RB at some point.

I wouldn't mind Lacy in the 2nd, I think there is a chance he's available there, but I would be shocked if he falls to our pick in the 3rd.

Unless you expect Bradshaw to cost $5m then we will be perfectly able to sign him.

Lattimore before Day 3 is a bad pick... His injuries are a huge concern.

It's a risky pick but that doesn't automatically make it a bad one.
