OL actually looks nice.
If we sign Braylon I think Cumberland and Smith are good enough to be ok for our receivers. Plus maybe Hill or White step up.
DL is deeeep.
Secondary will be interesting.
LBs could be a mess lol.
Plenty of RBs I like that.

I was planning on bumping the Keepers thread I made a few months ago, but this works.

You forgot Caleb Schlauderaff.

I couldn't think of the other QB, my head is clouded from this day.

We aren't in terrible shape TBH.

Garrard and Sanchez battle out QB maybe Mark works hard and you cannot say Garrard is going to mail it in. He's been through a lot of adversity and wants to play. Plus Geno has a chip on his shoulder and more talent than both of them.

RB we have a beautiful stable. Ivory is violent and can chew off big ones, Goodson is explosive who can break off big ones, and Powell will do everything solid for us.

WR/TE is a question mark but if Holmes plays and we can resign Braylon this could be different.

OL looks very good IMO. If not now, then the future.

DL is stacked, just gotta get everyone in the position to succeed.

LB is the weak spot on the team(along with WR questionmarks). Barnes will be good for us, but it's up to Davis to step up.

Secondary I'm not terribly worried. Allen was one of my favorite Safeties and for a 7th round rookie I loved how he played. Not the biggest Dawan fan so maybe Bush does alright.

CB looking very good.

I think the Jet will spend a majority of the time with 4 down lineman.

LE - Wilkerson/McIntyre
DT - Ellis/Garay
DT - Richardson
RE - Coples/Sapp
SLB - Pace/Barnes
MLB - Harris/Mauga
WLB - Davis
CB - Cromartie
CB - Milliner/Wilson
S - Landry
S - Bush/Allen

Ryan is going to be able to do some crazy things with the DL. That's a lot of talent on that line.

It would be a massive plus for us if Hayden Smith developed over the offseason. If he hasn't I am sure it isn't for lack of trying, I am willing to bet that kid has spent everyday this offseason working on route running and the playbook, and hopfully blocking.

I got the impression that Coples will play a lot more outside with Richardson playing inside with Wilkerson.

Coples could shed about 15 lbs and move to OLB for some downs and play RE on 4-3 downs.

He definately has the athleticism for it.

I love the idea of this, he is a very good pass rusher, and as far as athleticism he ran a faster 40 time than Jarvis Jones who was really the only OLB avalible for us in the first round since Jordan and Mingo were gone.

I think this should be our package on obvious passing downs

DE- Richardson
DT Garay
DE- Wilkerson
OLB- Coples
ILB- Harris
ILB- Davis
OLB- Barnes

So many possibilities there, all 4 LBers in that position would be stellar blitzers, and each guy on the line is a slasher who can get to the QB and demands attention from the OL.

Coples stands up in amoeba and does well. There is so much versatility between him, Wilk, Rich and Garay.

To be honest, I'd rather not have Coples stand up. Don't mess with a good thing. Just have him shuffle around with his hand in the dirt. His strength is one of his greatest assets, I wouldn't want to mess with that by asking him to lose weight.

we better be able to stop the run this year.

We got potential every where on offense besides the TE & RG positions. Still better than what we had going into last season.

Defensive line better not be a issue this time. I'm ok with Pace, but not excited about him. Worried about Barnes against the run. I'm still hoping we bring in a FS who can compete with Allen & Bush. Wondering if anyone on the team is going to have 8+ sacks this year.

I don't have any issues with the offense as that is exaclty how our QB situation should be heading in. One thing I believe we need to do on defense if we are going to be more base 4-3 is to acquire a 4-3 OLB. I don't think pace is a great fit there. Also maybe a veteran safety as well.

Why I would have LOVED Sio Moore in rd 3
