2) Mackenzy Bernadeau (OG)
3) Nate Livings (OG)

6) Phil Costa (C)
7) Phillip Tanner (RB) ----deep running back class get later on in draft
Lance Dunbar (RB) ---- sleeper picks as UFA’s in draft
List of players that we seen a little of due to injuries, hopefully could add more depth.

2) Andre Holmes (WR)
3) Kyle Wilber (LB)
4) Tyrone Crawford (DE)
5) Benn Bass (DT)
6) Sterling Moore (CB)
7) James Hanna (TE)
Alex Allbright (LB)
9) Ronald Leary (OG)
10) Darrion Weems (OT)
11) Jermey Parnell (OT)
List of players that never stepped on the field or brought in as camp bodies that might make an impact to make the 53 man roster or practice squad.
1) Matt Johnson (S)
2) Danny Coale (WR)
3) Caleb McSurdy (LB)
4) Brian Price (DT)
5) Barry Church (S)**** he was coming into his own before Achilles injury**
2 Scenarios for the 2013 draft
1st Scenario
1) Chance Warmack (OG) Alabama 6-2” 320lbs. 5.4 speed (this kid is a starter from day one and a future PRO BOWLER for years to come, Cowboys very happy he’s still on the board, pair up with Tyron Smith very strong left side of offensive line)
2) Eric Reid (FS) LSU 6-2” 213lbs 4.50 speed 17reps. 40.50” vertical ( Cowboys hope that pairing up Claiborne and Reid that they can create the magic that they had back at LSU)
3) Le’Veon Bell (RB) Michigan State 6-2” 230lbs. 4.60 speed ( Cowboys need to bring in a running back that can contribute right away to help bring some balance to our offense instead of putting pressure on Romo to deliver all the time, we also seen what happened when Murray went down to injury)
4) Jordan Mills (OT\OG) Louisiana Tech. 6-5” 316lbs. 5.30 speed 34” arms 22 reps. (This kid showed that he can play in the college all-star bowl games, he can either step in and play the right tackle position or step inside and play the guard position)
5) Akeem Spence (DT) Illinois 6-1” 307 lbs. 5.15 speed 37 reps. 30” vert. (Cowboys start to bring in some younger players to fill in on the defensive side of the ball, Hatcher and Ratliff starting to get up in age)
6) Lanear Sampson (WR) Baylor 5-11” 201lbs. 4.33 speed 38.5” vert. 20reps. (Cowboys try to add some depth to wide receivers corps. Just in case of injuries Miles Austin hasn’t lived up to his standards the last 2 years due to hamstring injuries.)
2nd Scenario
1) Sylvester Williams (DT) North Carolina 6-3” 313lbs. 4.99 speed 27reps.(all of Cowboys top targets are off the board, so Cowboys trade back with Minnesota and pick up their 3rd round pick)
2) Kyle Long (OT\OG) Oregon Ducks 6-6” 312lbs. 4.94 speed 33”arms ( Cowboys add a player that could play the right tackle position or step inside to play the guard position, comes from good blood lines)
3) Phillip Thomas (FS) Fresno State 6-1” 208lbs. 4.53 speed 14reps. 35”vert. ( this kid is a ball hawk and can also support the run game)
4) ***trade pick** Bennie Logan (DT) LSU 6-2” 309lbs. 5.08 speed 30 reps. (Cowboys add more depth on the defensive line)
5) Michael Ford (RB) LSU 5-10” 205lbs. 4.45 speed 39.5” vert. ( we pick up a running back late in the draft that doesn’t have a lot mileage on his legs and can help carry the load in our offensive scheme)
6) TJ. Johnson (C\OG) South Carolina 6-4” 309lbs. 5.3 speed 32 reps.(This kid opened a lot of holes foe Marcus Lattimore at South Carolina)
7) DC. Jefferson (TE) Rutgers 6-5” 255lbs. 4.97 speed ( need a blocking tight end) |
