Idk if any you guys seen this but on the schedule release show on ESPN, the last 3-4 or maybe more teams to win the SB started the season vs the Eagles. Lets hope this streak can continue this year for us! Can't imagine how I would react but I know it would be a great experience.

Okay Schedule....

SO here's my predicition for this season

OFFICIAL 2013 WASHINGTON REDSKINS SCHEDULE

Week 1: September 9th - 7:10 PM - vs Philadelphia Eagles - W
Week 2: September 15th - 1:00 PM - at Green Bay Packers - L
Week 3: September 22nd - 1:00 PM - vs Detroit Lions - W (RG3 is Back)!!!

Week 4: September 29th - 4:25 PM - at Oakland Raiders - W
Week 5: BYE WEEK
Week 6: October 13th - 8:30 PM - at Dallas Cowboys - L
Week 7: October 20th - 1:00 PM - vs Chicago Bears - W
Week 8: October 27th - 4:25 PM - at Denver Broncos - L
Week 9: November 3rd - 1:00 PM - vs San Diego Chargers - W
Week 10: November 7th - 8:25 PM - at Minnesota Vikings - W
Week 11: November 17th - 1:00 PM - at Philadelphia Eagles - W
Week 12: November 25th - 8:40 PM - vs San Francisco 49ers - L
Week 13: December 1st - 8:30 PM - vs New York Giants - W
Week 14: December 8th - 1:00 PM - vs Kansas City Chiefs - W
Week 15: December 15th - 1:00 PM - at Atlanta Falcons - L
Week 16: December 22nd - 1:00 PM - vs Dallas Cowboys - W
Week 17: December 29th - 1:00 PM - at New York Giants - L

Another 10 - 6 fellas and no there will be no division winning here but wilcard playoff spot yes ... I know you're like why you have RG3 back on week 3. Here's the reason why, because I please that Kirk Cousin is gonna show some difference in the preseason but in two games I believe RG3 is not going to sit no longer then til week 3. There's gonna be some injuries since the injury bugs love some redskins.

And I know I started late with the predicition but I'm just happy to see the schedule and hope that RG3 makes a speedy recovery... Very Happy

^^ I like it truskins. I can get on board with that.

Of course, if we don't win the division, who does in your opinion? The giants?

I think we win 10 or 11 games and win the division.

Shanahan is 21-27 as Redskins coach (2010-to-current)

5-5 in September (undefeated in openers so far) (We win 50% of the time)
(3-2 @Home & 2-3 Road)
5-8 in October (We win 38% of the time or bit better than 1/3rd)
(2-3 @Home & 3-5 Road)
4-6 in November (we win 40% of the time)
(1-5 @Home & 3-1 Road)
7-6 in December (We win 54% of the time)
(3-4 @Home & 4-2 Road)
0-2 in January (not counting Seattle playoff loss of 2013)
--------------
=21-27

I will use these numbers to find our record, by trend. (using monthly success)

Week 1: September 9th - 7:10 PM - vs Philadelphia Eagles=W
Week 2: September 15th - 1:00 PM - at Green Bay Packers=L
Week 3: September 22nd - 1:00 PM - vs Detroit Lions=W
Week 4: September 29th - 4:25 PM - at Oakland Raiders=L (there's 50% in September)
Week 5: BYE WEEK
Week 6: October 13th - 8:30 PM - at Dallas Cowboys=L
Week 7: October 20th - 1:00 PM - vs Chicago Bears=W (there's your 1 win in October of 3 & it's at home)
Week 8: October 27th - 4:25 PM - at Denver Broncos=L
Week 9: November 3rd - 1:00 PM - vs San Diego Chargers=L
Week 10: November 7th - 8:25 PM - at Minnesota Vikings=W
Week 11: November 17th - 1:00 PM - at Philadelphia Eagles=W
Week 12: November 25th - 8:40 PM - vs San Francisco 49ers=L (We're not good @Home in November)
Week 13: December 1st - 8:30 PM - vs New York Giants=W
Week 14: December 8th - 1:00 PM - vs Kansas City Chiefs=W
Week 15: December 15th - 1:00 PM - at Atlanta Falcons=L
Week 16: December 22nd - 1:00 PM - vs Dallas Cowboys=W
Week 17: December 29th - 1:00 PM - at New York Giants=L (We're actually better on the road in December, but our toughest games this month are the road games so I flipped the W/L's)

(No regular season games in January) (Which is good according to info above)

I've got 8-8 based off the last 3 seasons & Monthly success at home & Away.
4-2 in Division
7-5 Conference record

Now what's not calculated in here, is the difference a Franchise QB makes on a team.
As RG3 has only played 1 season for us.

So I truly, honestly believe...
This is a worst case scenario. (With RG3 playing all 16 games)

In other words, I think we can all expect at MINIMUM...An 8-8 season.
+ or better.

My take I think RG3 starts the season on PUP BTW

Week 1: September 9th - 7:10 PM - vs Philadelphia Eagles - Win (And I hope we blow them out)
Week 2: September 15th - 1:00 PM - at Green Bay Packers - Lose
Week 3: September 22nd - 1:00 PM - vs Detroit Lions - Win
Week 4: September 29th - 4:25 PM - at Oakland Raiders - Win
Week 5: BYE WEEK
Week 6: October 13th - 8:30 PM - at Dallas Cowboys - Lose
Week 7: October 20th - 1:00 PM - vs Chicago Bears - Win
Week 8: October 27th - 4:25 PM - at Denver Broncos - Lose
Week 9: November 3rd - 1:00 PM - vs San Diego Chargers - Win
Week 10: November 7th - 8:25 PM - at Minnesota Vikings - Win
Week 11: November 17th - 1:00 PM - at Philadelphia Eagles - Win
Week 12: November 25th - 8:40 PM - vs San Francisco 49ers - Win (I got a feeling this will score an upset)
Week 13: December 1st - 8:30 PM - vs New York Giants - Win
Week 14: December 8th - 1:00 PM - vs Kansas City Chiefs - Win
Week 15: December 15th - 1:00 PM - at Atlanta Falcons - Lose
Week 16: December 22nd - 1:00 PM - vs Dallas Cowboys - Win
Week 17: December 29th - 1:00 PM - at New York Giants - Lose

Got us going 11-5 I think the division is between us and the Giants!

Why we're going to Oakland again....
Quote:
So why are the Redskins returning to Oakland and the Chiefs to Landover? I asked an NFL spokesman why and the answer was that they tweaked the rotation in 2010 to avoid two California trips in a year for NFC East teams.

From the NFL spokesman:

In 2010 to make for the most equitable travel for teams going west, the scheduling rotation was tweaked. Thus anything prior to 2010 is not going to match up exactly 4 years later.

Now a team playing the AFC West visits or hosts BOTH Denver and Oakland and visits/hosts BOTH KC & San Diego so there is only one far west trip. The same thing happened when Washington most recently played the NFC West in 2011. Now an eastern team will host/visit BOTH St. Louis & Seattle and visits/hosts both San Francisco and Arizona again splitting up the game against westernmost clubs.

Am im high. I could have sworn Raiders was coming here this year. WTF NFL. Wasnt when Campbell beat us in Oakland. That was the last time we played right in 2009. I thought they switch. That would make it a 8 year wait for my team to come to town. Freaking NFL. That aint right.
yeah. Wasn't the last time the Raiders came to DC like in 05 or 06? I think they had Kerry Collins and Jerry Porter.

Strange.
whats strange?

That both you and dante was right. The Raiders visited in 2005 and we went out to Oakland in 2005.

Strange that the NFL reversed the away date.

When was the last time Dallas was halfway decent?

Dallas has made the playoffs more than once in the last decade and won a division crown since modern free agency began. These are two statements the Lions cannot make.

In fact, since the NFL went to a sixteen game season in 1978, the Detroit Lions have won ten games in a season four times (twelve wins in 1991, and ten wins in 1993, 1995, and 2011). Nine wins? Five times (1980, 1983, 1994, 1997, and 2000). At least 0.500? Twice (1981, 1999). Eleven seasons in 35 years of 0.500 or better football. That includes the 1982 strike shortened season when they went 4-5 but the made playoffs (it was an eight team bracket format).

Lions fans, here's to you and your fortitude! I mean that with all sincerity.

That said, I don't know why you deserve a Thursday home game on Thanksgiving every year.
Did you just defend Dallas? I just threw up in my mouth a little.

In comparison to the Lions, yes. As much as don't like them, they are better than Detroit.

Okay, that's humane. It would have been wise to communicate that to the fans in general though.
