From Total Access: Hear #VIkings want to move up in draft from 23 or 25. Want CB & WR. Moving up would likely mean WR: Austin or Patterson?

Would love to land Rhodes or Richardson in a trade up. Would be so, so disappointed in a trade up for Te'o.

The more I think about it, the more I like Austin as well. That'd be a pretty sly move by the Vikings.. Move a disgruntled Percy, then bring in Jennings and Austin for about the same price.

I hope its for Xavier Rhodes...Cook And Rhodes would be a formidable corner duo...then Take Sylvester Williams nab Kevin reddick in the 3rd rd and Da rick Rodgers in 2nd I am Happy

why is this hotel thing just coming out now?

Some team at the top of the 2nd is trying to force a Hopkins drop right to them.

ain't going to work if it's easy to disprove.

No sources were mentioned, but I heard on KFAN this morning that a couple teams knew of it right away (must be the ones who photographed it), and the agents were desperately trying to keep it quiet.

However, if 2 teams knew, I'd be willing to bet every other team found out pretty quick. I'm sure the agents were just trying to keep this away from the public, nothing good comes from that.

Pretty ridiculous story.

Yeah, the reason it is coming out now is that the NFL/NFLPA kept is quiet, informing teams about it and letting them know about it, and the agents had released statements to the teams, but they didn't want it in the public eye until the full details were known, and then a day or three ago.

I can definitely see Te'o. Kiper, McShay, etc, have him as a top 20 pick still, it is a situation where fans I feel like have been more quickly to jump off him than teams will have, then again, that's because they've done a whole lot more work and research than we do from fans, and the sports media loves to run with a story.

This is my thinking as well. Plus with our dire need at MLB, if Te'o is the clear number one which I think he is, we will trade up to ensure we get our guy.

If we do trade up, I see us then trading down from 25.

I wouldn't be upset with any WR they draft early I like a lot of WR's.

I love...

Austin
Hunter
Patterson
Rogers
Hopkins
Allen
Woods

I'd be happy if they got any one of those guys.

If I could pick one I'd go with Hunter, he's always been my #1 WR.

I agree about Te'o. I just do not think you can count out a team like Chicago. It is a similar situation as with Harrison Smith last year. If you want a certain player, you go get that player. Harrison could have possibly fell to our original second round pick last year but why take the risk?
