We pick again in a couple of hours. I'm still for the Washington trade. This pick reinforces that, as I had Fauria in the 210s on my big board. My choice, Ricky Wagner, was in the 190s, so not great value with the picks at positions of need IMO.

Who would we pick at #176 vs. Nate Washington (if they want the pick)?

Nobody left catches my eye, so I'd vote for a trade now.

You know my vote.

Our top five WRs now have six years of experience COMBINED. Our top three TEs have a combined experience of four years. 10 years total experience among eight receivers. I don't think we can do that with a young QB.

I think we can get him as an UDFA or with #205. I have him in the 300s.

Just assume you can sign a FA instead of spending a draft pick to fill that hole. Brandon Lloyd is a FA, for example.

I'm heading out in a couple minutes, so if you guys want to do the deal, it needs to be posted quick. Otherwise, it was nice negotiating with you but we won't really be able to do anything.

The Titans want Joe Kruger. He's on sundance's list too, so let's take him and then either trade him or keep him ourselves.

Sounds like a plan to me. I was thinking of going DE if we kept the pick so Kruger would be fine with me.

Everyone good with that?

Sorry guys, thought I'd be on earlier. Thank you for making the pick. I've said Fauria is a good fit and I believe it. He has good size and I think he can be that redzone target at TE we've been needing.

I went ahead and took Kruger because a pick needed to be made. If they want him, they can put together something for him. If not, I like his addition at DE anyway.

These are the rules for the UDFA period:

Quote:
The UDFA period will begin Monday, April 22nd at 9am EST. Each team is allowed to claim 1 player per hour. To claim a player, the GM/AGM (or approved delegate) must use the following format: Team Name claim Player Name, Position, School. For example:

Ohio Carps claim TJ Moe, WR, Missouri

If the timestamp for that claim is 9:01am EST then that team will not be allowed to claim another player until 10:01am EST. Players will be selected on a first come, first serve basis. Also there is no limit to the number of UDFA players that you can claim.

Teams are allowed to revoke their claim as long as it's done within an hour. If a team revokes their bid which means they haven't claimed a player within the last hour then they are free to place a bid on another player immediately.

Love the picks! Fauria can be an instant red zone threat for us. I really like Kruger's upside. He might take a year to groom but he could be startable by next year. Still a few good players available. Definitely some offensive line talent to keep an eye on. I know we could use safety and corner depth but I'm not great with defensive backs.

If we get something good from the Titans, cool. If not, I think Kruger was a great pick.

Tennessee is still interested in Joe Kruger. I'll let you keep negotiating with them SDRF but they've got to ante up if they want him. I'm not trading him + a 6th next year for Nate Washington. They'd have to kick in something, I think. If they don't - I'm not worried about it. Kruger seems like a great pick up.
