So I was fired today after 3 years. I'm actually excited. I hated the job. The only reason I kept it was the pay (16/H) and the people I worked with. Job itself sucked and bosses sucked. Now I can look into bar tending and possibly going back to school for a real career.

Any drama with the firing?
or
Normal redundancy, budget type thing.

I used to sleep thru every night on my 3rd shift job.
Every night.
After 3 months they fired me.
they said
"obviously...you don't want to work here..."

Eh I was stupid. I posted something on facebook I shouldn't have. We had a dress down day and the boss says to me "I didn't think it was possible for you to look bad dressed down, but you do." It upset me. So I posted on on facebook, "You wear your guido clubbing shirt and I'll wear my baseball t and jeans and we'll see who looks better okay? D-----." Someone told him. We talked it out. Both apologized. Thought it was cool. He gets his director to fire me a week and change later. He has an ego out the you know what so me calling him the D word really bruised it.

$4,000 aint much when you are making $8,250,000. Add in the 5 or so TD's. Not a big check for Finley.

Well for last year it would be $4000, 7 drops and 1 TD. The drops portion is going to be much bigger than the TD portion. He's not going to get the opportunities. He simply isn't reliable enough and I don't see why that would change.

But if it gives him incentive to not drop the darn ball I'm all for it!

You'll beat this horse at any opportunity you get, huh?

Of course. People try and talk him up, make excuses, or defend him, so I'll talk him down where he actually deserves to be. Ever since the knee injury:

2012: 7 drops, 1 TD
2011: 11 drops, 8 TD

The concentration and dedication just isn't there. There is nothing to make you expect that would change. I hate people who run their mouth and don't back it up, especially when it's because they don't put in the effort to maximize their talent. Everything about what Finley is rubs me the wrong way. He COULD be great. It's the whole million dollar body, dimestore head problem.

Love da scotch!

My "everyday scotch" is Balvenie 12yr and when I splurge I do the 15yr. Also, the Glenmorangie Nectar D'or is ridiculous if you like something a little sweeter.

If you want to try some other whiskey types, I also really like Hibiki 12yr and Stranahan's Colorado whiskey. Hibiki is the Japanese version of scotch and Stranahan's is Colorado's version of bourbon. Defintiely leaving a lot out when describing these, but they are both tasty, which is the main thing Laughing

Some mixture of these is always in the old liquor cabinet at home

If you're gonna rely on stats, at least get them right...

I could really go for a crepe right now. Or chocolate chip waffles. With pie filling on top.
