Just want to wish Antoine all the best. While it really hurts to see him leave, I totally understand his decision. I'm sure he feels that the Seahawks are alot closer to a championship than the Vikings right now and I would have to agree with him. I'll still be cheering for my vikes every Sunday but now with Percy and Antoine out west ill have another team to root for if we don't win it. Also my wife and I just finally made it out to Seattle last month for the first time. What a truly beautiful area not to mention the cascades WOW! Oh and amazing wineries and micro brews |

Seahawks are going to be the next Madden 12 Eagles in terms of Madden when they just got Nnamdi and all the "Dream Team" Hooplah was there.
But damnnnn this team is just SICK right now! I love this signing. Seahawks, like the Ravens, are simply making all the right moves right now! If they nail the draft, oh my goodness _________________ #FireDeanPees...and Chris Hewitt....and Matt Weiss |

yeah, this is very well stated. i harbor no animosity toward the Seahawks like a couple of Viking fans have stated elsewhere, but hope it all comes together for them and they do well. _________________

My biggest concern with Winfield at this point, would be Winfield's ability to hold up in a 16 game season. However, in a reduced role, it will increase his odds of staying healthy.
Kind of interesting and ironic:
2006 - 16 games played
2007 - 10 games played
2008 - 16 games played
2009 - 10 games played
2010 - 16 games played
2011 - 5 games played
2012 - 16 games played
Every other season, Winfield has missed significant time due to injury and he did play 16 games last season.
Otherwise, if Winfield is healthy for you guys, you have yourself an elite slot CB who is dominant in the run game. _________________

Rapoport learned there were some emotions involved for Winfield after he cut by the Vikings. Winfield wanted to retire a Viking and make Minnesota his permanent home, but he and his family will now live in Houston. He even contemplated retiring when he released. A chance at winning a possible Super Bowl title with the Seahawks ended up playing a factor in Winfield joining the team.

Surprised to see him take less guaranteed money to play here. I guess that must be why the decision was so tough, outside of the obvious reasons.
I have loved every move we've made so far. Hopefully we carry this momentum into the draft. _________________
