Note: Players who would interest the Saints but whom I feel will not be available come the 15th pickÖ Luke Joeckel, Eric Fisher, Lane Johnson, Tavon Austin, Dee Milliner, Ezekiel Ansah, Dion Jordan, Star Lotulelei & Shariff Floyd.

1. Jarvis Jones OLB Georgia
A lot has been made of Jones poor pro-day results but the Saints would love nothing more than to see the top pass rusher in the draft fall to them at 15. Jones would be an instant starter and impact player for the black and gold and would address the Saints lack of pass rush in a major positive way.

2. Kenny Vaccaro SS Texas
If Jones is off the board, the Saints may opt for the player they feel could be the second most impact player for them in this draft in Vaccaro. A big physical defender with great range and acceleration off his breaks, Vaccaro would provide a major upgrade at either safety position.

3. Barkevious Mingo OLB Louisiana State
I feel the Saints like Mingo but they also realize heís a project as well. Still, his length and athleticism would be a valued addition to their linebacking core and would give the Saints a 3rd down pass rushing specialist with major upside for the future.

4. Alex Ogletree ILB Georgia
Ogletree to me is in the class of Jarvis Jones & Kenny Vaccaro as far as being an instant impact player for our defense but heís below Mingo on this list due to his off the field concerns. Still, Ogletree is a top 10 talent and could develop into a major playmaker for this defense. If Jones, Vaccaro and Mingo are off the board by 15 and no trade offers entice the SaintsÖ Ogletree could be the pick.

5. Xavier Rhodes CB Florida State
Yes the Saints landed a very good up and comer in Kennan Lewis but with the unsuccessful courtship of Nnamdi & Porter combined with the recent interest in Mike Jenkins the Saints could very well still be in the market for another corner. Rob Ryan is known for his history of targeting defensive backs with premium picks and Rhodes size, speed and athleticism could entice Ryan to bang the table for him on draft day if available.

6. Chance Warmack OG Alabama
Crazy I know but the Saints covet quality players at the guard position and Warmack is considered by many to be the biggest canít miss in the entire draft. Jahri Evans has regressed since signing his big deal and has battled penality issues over the last two years. If Warmack is on the board at 15 there is no doubt heíll be in the discussion if youíre a team that drafts the BPA and his addition would allow the Saints to trade Evans and his monster contract for much needed draft picks and cap room for 2014.

7. Sylvester Williams DT North Carolina
Williams is my biggest riser on my draft board since my last version of this list. Heís an elite prospect who does not get the love of some of the otherís at his position but I feel heís easily the 3rd best tackle in this draft and would be a disruptive force upfront for the Saints in their new 34 look.

8. Sheldon Richardson DT Missouri
I have Richardson rated slightly below Williams on this list but heís still a disruptive force up front in his own right. I feel he lacks the overall power and base that Williams possesses but both players have proven to be studs throughout this draft process.

9. Datone Jones DE UCLA
Another defender who has exceled up my draft board is UCLAís Datone Jones. His skill set make him perfectly suited to play across Cam Jordan as the Saints other DE in there new 34 front. Jones combines rare athleticism and power and a muscular frame to add another 10-15 lbs on an already 280lb body.

10. Keenan Allen WR Cal
Sometimes itís more about scheme fit than actual talent and while I feel Patterson is a better overall athlete, Allen to me is a player that could fit seamlessly into Paytonís offense. Given this is a last case scenario but Brees has never really had a true #1 receiver on the edge and Colston is getting up in age. Allen would give Brees a big strong physical presence opposite Colston and an eventual replacement for him once his production does not match his contract.

WHODAT!

Appreciate the list man!

Going off Mike D's recent column, it seems Allen and Patterson are just smoke screens to trade down. They also view Harper as a key contributor and hence don't want to ask him to restructure.

Personally I also doubt they invest more into CB after getting Allen, same with OG after having both Grubbs and Evans.

I mostly agree with the rest of the list.

My ideal scenario is trade down with SF, draft Jamie Collins and Datone Jones, and have a really stacked front seven.

Thanks,

Honestly the Saints have been pretty open about their attraction to Mingo which tells me that their all privately hoping Jarvis Jones is sitting there at 15.

Good solid list there Mr. Worm.

The only name on that list I'd feel comfortable spending a #15 pick on is Jarvis Jones.

With that said, my ideal draft would include two trades. First, to SF for their 1st and the 2nd (from KC). Second, given our current roster/manning situation, I'd trade PT and our 6th to the Jets for their 3rd.

So, my draft (voodoo's final mock) would go something like...

1 RD (31 from SF): Jonathan Cyprien, S, Florida International
2 RD (34 from SF via KC): Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State
3 RD (72 from NYJ): Jordan Mills, OT, Louisiana Tech
3 RD (75): Jon Bostic, ILB, Florida
4 RD (109): William Gholston DE Michigan State
5 RD (155): Chris Faulk, OG/OT, LSU

Solid!

I love Cyprien and landing Mills and Faulk could set this franchise up at tackle for years to come. Hankins would be solid in round 2, im a believer in Bostic and Gholston has potential.

From your list I would really like to get Vacarro. Watched a lot of his tape the past few days and I really like him. Best safety prospect this year!

I would rank all of 7-10 ahead of Warmack. Good list though.

I really like all the players on the list. I'd add Desmond Trufant And DJ Fluker. If Rhodes is gone and Ryan still wants a corner I could see Trufant at 15 and if Sean feels we need an OT I could see Fluker. I wouldn't be happy with either at 15, but plausible.

My order of your 10 would be:
Jones
Ogletree
Mingo
Richardson
Vaccaro
Rhodes
Jones
Williams
Allen
Warmack
