Regardless your all terrible negotiators. I would have said "oh your offering an early 3rd..... what else you got?"

Plus since this isn't a salary cap type mock. Then we really should have put it on them. Clemons healthy is a top 7 DE.

I think a third is pretty nice compensation for a 32 year old year old DE coming off a torn ACL getting paid 13.5 million dollars still on his deal. If an extra 6th is the make or break - its not worth it.

I'm just trying to be fair - if they want him they can have him for the price. He's worth more to them than he is to us at this point.

They didn't offer the 3rd, that's the price I said I would personally be willing to deal Clemons for.

Well it seems my staff would prefer to use our 3rd in the draft instead. Maybe we could work something out if you're willing to accept a lower pick, but if not I understand.

personally I don't think a lower pick is a fair return for Clemons

Lowest I'd probably go is a 2013 4th+6th and a conditional pick next year.

I'm assuming I'm good with pushing through the Jones deal? Pretty much everyone was in support of it

I think with our need at UT will be fulfilled with our 3rd (and getting a 4th back) in Jones. We should really consider my favorite position with #35.

Reverting back to last FFMD codes. We should attempt to trade up with someone for AU8 or even AU1.

If we pull off the Jones trade, we can pretty much go BPA.

I would really like to get a SLB, a nickel CB, and a ton of O-lineman though. (I will edit this if it gives up too much info)

And I dont know much about Arthur Jones, but if you guys are OK with the trade than I trust you.

That's what it looks like to me as well. I'll approve it if you accept it...

Trade is official.

Seattle Seahawks trade:

I think it will be easiest to use last draft's codes

SOS (DC) should be loving Jones as his new UT. Perfect size and extremely explosive off the line. Got 5 sacks in limited snaps.

The combinations of pass rush is mind boggling.

Bennett, Jones, Mebane, and Avril =1st and second down

Irvin, Bennett, Mebane, Clemons and LB Avril on 3rd down is just redonkulous.

Teams are going to have to bring 4th and 5th string QBs when they play Seattle. Its just going to be nightmare ish for offensive line

He had 5 sacks and 47 tackles last year in Baltimore and he's only 26. Very athletic for a big man. And for what's projected in the late 3rd for DTs we got a steal with Jones.

Since we have an early 2nd then nothing til late 4th we should be looking at BPA for sure.
