Discussions like this would be ideal for a March Madness-esque bracket with different genres in place of regions (or just different polls for different genres). It's so hard to compare my best shows of all-time (The Wire and Arrested Development) because they're drastically different types of shows.

Also, I'm throwing Archer into the mix. No other show makes me laugh on a more consistent basis (though Parks and Rec comes close).

Yeah this could have been done a lot more accurately if I'd have bothered to plan it out properly.

I guess we can just discuss the shows that aren't on the poll. There's no way I could fit enough on to please everyone anyway.

then if we take past considerations into effect The Office and Community come out in that top tier for sure.

Is P&R Parks and Recreation?

I keep seeing that on Netflix, been pondering giving it a try.

Its aright, not good not bad. Something you watch to pass the time

false, it's amazing. Ron Swanson is probably the best character on tv (comedy at least) right now.

SMH you need an other option if your going to ask this broad a question. How do you include HIMYM and not BBT? No South Park?

Are you asking us to judge a show on its entire body of work, or just their most recent season?

No Eureka? Poll is null and void. Wink

GoT for me. Either that or Breaking Bad.

I don't like to lump comedies into "best TV shows" but I really love The Big Bang Theory as well.

Spartacus will always have my heart, too.

We just discussed this.....

There wouldn't possibly be enough room to add all of the relevant TV shows.

And judging by the poll, HIMYM has 0 votes and BBT is a very similar show. I don't think it makes a difference.
