Everything. He's a nightmare, this has been a long time coming. Dude's just a bad person and a bad teammate. Terrible football player as well.

For those interested in him, I'll try to put a positive spin on it. Early on the kid was a hard worker and showed signs of leadership, switching to the 4-3 from the 3-4 in college.

2nd year with a new HC things got out of control with the Shooting incident in Alabama. Jackson didn't take a hold of the team as a whole either. McClain had some decent games post incident. Bears game was probably his best game.

3rd year he showed some signs early in preseason that he was the guy we drafted. We start losing again and "Jogging" McClain showed up again and saw less and less snaps. Got into it with Allen on the practice field then had the Facebook post and the Raiders decided not to cut him.

Despite limited snaps, McClain was pretty effective on run stops according to PFF. Every now and then he would make play on the ball vs the pass. Our LB core was terrible as a whole last year. DLine left so many huge holes up the middle leading to big plays.

Clear that the guy is not a fit for the 4-3 Defense. Has immaturity issues but with the right team (say the Ravens) I think he can redeem himself.

Ozzie Newsome is very well connected at Alabama, so he could probably get all the dirt on him from his years at college. Based on what we've seen, as fans, it's probably a big mound of dirt. I'm pretty sure we'd stay away.

Likewise, I was convinced it was a fake.

Just a quick perusal of his wikipedia page, and the special section on "arrests", tells me I'd rather the Ravens steered clear of this guy.

It's not even like this stuff is in his past, and he's trying to move on. He was arrested three months ago!

And I can't see Ozzie or Harbs wanting to bring a potentially disruptive guy into a locker room that is going to be finding a new identity for itself next year.

I know that pretty much all other Ravens fans want nothing to do with this guy, but this guy is a typical "low risk, high reward" guy, and he's still young.

If the Ravens can get him for a really low price, I wouldn't be angry at the thought of bringing him in to compete in our 3-4 system if it meant we also draft a stud ILB and sign a veteran LB for leadership.

I still believe with the right coaching and people around him, McClain can be a good linebacker in the NFL, but I know I'm in the minority on this, and rightfully so.

He was on a team with no veteran leadership and on top of that not a lot of talent. I think if he gets around the right group of guys he will be a pretty good player, the only thing is he may be set in his stupid ways off the field.
