How is Sherman/Browner ahead of Revis/Cromartie? Revis is better than Sherman and Cromartie is better than Browner.

Because if you read, I didn't rank any duos at all, rather listing them

If I'm making a list...

1. Patrick Willis & Navorro Bowman
2. Rob Gronkowski & Aaron Hernadez
3. Richard Sherman & Brandon Browner
4. J.J. Watt & Antonio Smith
5. Julio Jones & Roddy White

I'd put Griffin/Cousins above them (that's just me, though).

Brady/Gronk isn't eligible according to the guidelines of the OP.

Because Revis has a bum knee and you don't know how good he is going to be next year.

This is me being a COMPLETE homer, but..

Brandon Carr and Morris Claiborne.

I think in future years to come they'll be one of the best CB duos in the league. Depends on Claiborne's growth (I think he has tremendous upside and hes pretty solid already).

That being said, I'll take Revis and Cromartie for now.

This is called naming the best duos in the league not on your own team.

He's still free to add some more duos into the discussion, even if he knows they aren't the best.

Not saying he isnt. To me its seems like its a way to get recognition. Maybe Tillman and Jennings have the best argument but the others imo, no.

Melton and Peppers have a case. top 5 DT and a top 5 DE.

They both don't play bookend positions. If you were talking about Peppers/Wooton or Melton/Pea, you'd be in the right criteria. Peppers/Melton does not fall under that.
