I wouldn't mind, always had good-great production except for last year. Though not many would find playing time behind Gronk and Hernandez.

these are the numbers from the deals we've made this offseason (besides dwan who i'm sure got the most)

Captain $1.1 million (including $300k signing bonus)
Derek Anderson $850k
Tedd Ginn Jr. $750k
Mike Mitchell $725k
D.J Moore $715k
Drayton Florence $620k
Ben Hartstock $620k
Colin Jones $555k
Richie Brockel $555k

captain screwed himself by not taking that 3/5 deal he was offered. this is pretty much all of the gamble cut money. we're probably back to practically no space again. will need to fix gross, beason, and dwill deals to sign our rookies. or cut more people but idk if there's anyone who will save us that much...

Slow day. Which means it is a nice day to announce jersey numbers.

James Shaw - 10
Ted Ginn - 19
DJ Moore - 20 (wtf man)
Drayton Florence - 29
Colin Cole - 91

No word on Mike Mitchell's # yet.

getting Ginn at that price IMO is a steal and yeh captain screwed himself out of that deal but oh well. maybe we can offer him the same next year

I would take a look at Tyson Clabo who was just released.

Quote:
The Carolina Panthers, who had to do a lot of work to get under the cap at the start of free agency, now are $6.187 under the cap (largely due to the restructuring of Jordan Gross’ contract). That figure doesn’t include the deal signed by receiver Domenik Hixon on Wednesday. But Hixon’s deal is probably for the veteran minimum and won’t take up much cap space. The Panthers, who haven’t made any major moves in free agency, have a little bit of wiggle room now and could make perhaps one or two moves of note.
