Saw this in another forum.

What 5 players are you most hoping end up drafted by the Jaguars? Be as realistic or unrealistic as you want.

1. Geno Smith, QB
2. Barkevious Mingo, DE/LEO
3. Arthur Brown, MLB/OLB
4. Jamie Collins, OLB
5. Marcus Lattimore, RB

I'm really hoping that somehow we end up with 1, 3 and 4, but I don't see it as likely that one of Brown/Collins makes it to the third round and I'm not sure Brown makes it out of the first round.

If we just end up with 2 of the first four, I will be elated.

Lattimore is kinda the wildcard for me. I think he's the most talented back in this class and has the talent to be the next elite RB on this team, but at the same time, the injury scares me.

Aside from my 'Top' candidates for the pick at #2 where i'm finding it really hard to to develop any sort of mancrush on any particular prospect...Mingo and Star being the two leading candidates for me there. But not overly attached to either tbh.

My Top-5 guys i'd love to see the Jaguars draft in no particular order are probably:

1.Shamarko Thomas.
2.Da'Rick Rogers.
3.Mike Gillislee.
4.Sean Porter.
5.Landry Jones.

But i'm not really sure how to go about putting together a list like that i guess. Just some later guys i think will be outstanding value where they're likely picked, like the way they play, whatever.

Only half kidding about Landry Jones. Laughing

My 5 favorite players that I believe will make immediate impact are

In no particular order:

Luke Joeckel
Xavier Rhodes
Jarvis Jones
Tavon Austin
Ezekiel Ansah

Still not sure who the jaguars should pick at #2 but my first two picks would be DE, and CB with whomever Gus feels would fit his system the best.

1. Geno Smith

There are plenty of players I'd be okay with getting after round 1, here are 3 interior linemen we could go after in round 2/3

Larry Warford
Justin Pugh
Travis Frederick

Marcus Davis(UDFA)

He's a boom or bust kind of guy, but he likely to be a late second, early third kind of pick.

He's worth the pick, in my opinion. I think he can develop into the Kam Chancellor/DaShaun Goldson type of role.

Every defense either has a tone-setter, or is looking for one.
