Draft picks from the next year are worth 1 round lower than they are so a 2014 2nd would be valued at a 3rd this season.
AZ a 3rd would get you close, but you would need a motivated team because it is not a knock your socks off offer. |
To move from 20 to 12 would cost like this years 4th and next years 2nd (or both a 2nd and 3rd next year), since the Bears don't have a 3rd this year. If a team is desperate to trade down, you could get it for less (maybe a future 2nd and a 5th or something). |

If Jeff Ireland did something that dumb he should be banished from the business. _________________

Target Player: G Jonathan Cooper
Where He’s Expected to Go: Top 20
The Bears hold the final selection in the top 20, so one of the draft’s two elite guards — Chance Warmack or Cooper — could fall into their laps. However, for a team that’s badly in need of an upgrade on the O-line, there will be some nervous moments should one of those two (likely Warmack) hear his name called early.
Chicago doesn’t figure to put all its chips on the table to move up a few spots, but a swap with, say, Miami at 12 or Carolina at 14 could be mutually beneficial.

For a third next year I'd do it. | You mean Windy's trade plus a third next year? |
I don't see a trade listed anywhere.
What I meant was 1.20 and 2014 3rd for 1.12. | Oh, I gotcha. I just might go for that but it would depend on who they picked. |

Pauline said the stock for Teo and Minter are falling.
He also said that Khaled Holmes apparently doesnt really like playing football and wants to do other things. |

Kiper sees DEs like Sam Montgomery and Alex Okafor as 3rd round possibilities |

Arthur Brown would be a great 20th pick if we cannot trade down.
I however would not pass on a trade down to take him. _________________ John Fox

I do not believe they would take Brown with the 20th pick. They may be exploring scenarios in case they trade down. Not that Brown is a BAD pick, but given our current situation and the flexibility we have, I think they would be looking for more value than that. Of course, Shea McClellin was a pick that was somewhat out of left field last year, so I guess nothing could be ruled out. |

I am in a mic draft and my options are
1. Arthur Brown or Cordarella Patterson
Or
2. Trade down with Houston for 1(27), 3(89) and a 5th.
I think I know the answer. _________________ John Fox

The trade down is a rip off...
#20 (850 points)...#31+#89 is only (745 points) even the highest pick in the 5th round is only worth 43 points...
I would just take Brown. _________________ Adopt-a-Bear...Adrian Amos |

It is 27 and 89 and a 5th which equals 855. _________________ John Fox
