Butler would be a nice get as he has alot of potential and the steelers are interested in him as well. does anyone else think signing him makes Jabaal Sheard even more of a possibility to be traded

I think Sheard can still be utilized in the pass rush game (even in the 3-4) and would be silly to just give up on him. I would put him in a back up roll, let him develop and see what you have with him.

im kinda on the same page with you.

I can see butler being a starter at the OLB and someone like Sheard can be used primarily as a pass rusher. I think someone like Butler allows us to slowly develop Sheard as an OLB.

I like Kruger and butler as our starting OLB and Sheard and Groves as our pass rusher backers and back ups

No way Butler would start over Sheard.

why is that? Butler spent 4years in the 3/4 in Dallas.
IMO I give Butler the nod over Sheard because of his experience because IMO the experience he has will show in camp. Also I rather have Butler start and allow us to slowly bring Sheard on as an all around 3/4OLB

yes talent over experience but how much of Sheard's talent is going to be hided because he is going to be learning a whole new position. the worse enemy to a defensive player is thinking. IMO Butler can pick up the OLB quicker than Sheard and show that he is better on the field because he will make better and quicker decisions in the beginning.

Even if it takes Sheard awhile to adjust to the 3-4, I'm sure he would still play better than Butler. According to Dallas fans, he's not very good and is backup material at best. I mean, I would love for Butler to be better than that but I'm not counting on him being good enough to start over Sheard.

Yeah, that is pretty boring Laughing

Needed to add a fight scene or something, I only made it 2 minutes.

Looks like his has an average leg, slow punting motion but doesn't take many steps.

Free agent CB Brent Grimes still holding out for a better deal than what Cleveland offered him. He wants a multi year deal.

Atlanta thought they lost him to CLE last week so he's taking his time hoping Miami sweetens there deal

Still boring. We need a female punter if we are to be expected to watch tape on a punter.
