With Oakland releasing Tommy Kelly, I think it's officially a lock they draft a DT. Jacksonville can really influence the draft for us. If they take Geno, Philly would take Dion Jordan, which would mean we get Milliner. I am looking at potentially:

1. Joeckel
2. Smith
3. Floyd / Lotulelei
4. Jordan
5. Fisher

I think Joeckel is a lock, a DT at pick 3 is a lock and an OT at pick 5 is a lock

I'm reading that if Jacksonville doesn't draft Geno, Oakland will. Carson Palmer's base salary jumps from $825K to $13M this year.

The trade for Palmer went down about two and a half weeks before Reggie McKenzie was hired as GM, so no doubt he's looking to unload that contract before the salary escalates next year and his cap number goes from $15.3 to $17.3

DT is OAK's Plan B, IMO.

They will no doubt resort to it, because the new regime in Jacksonville isn't going to be saddled with Blaine Gabbert, and rightly so. He's been atrocious, and those weapons they have deserve better quarterbacking.

and KC is looking to trade back from #1....

could be some movement in the top, and I doubt Geno falls to past 6.

I don't think he falls past 4. And for this, I am thankful.

Good choices at the moment. History favors Vacarro, as Lombardi drafted Huff out of Texas high in the 1st. Probably his most successful 1st round pick not named Sebastian Janikowski.

What's interesting is, due to a trade with the Bears, the Dolphins hold picks 77 and 82 in the 3rd round.

I would almost perfer those two picks in place of pick 42, even though the value chart favors pick 42.

If he were there, I would have to probably take Chance Warmack. I know he is an OG, but he will be a 10-15 year pro bowl/all pro caliber player. If we could then snag Barrett Jones in the 4th (falls due to injury); we would have the best offensive line in football for a solid 5-8 years. Weeden could definitely work behind that O-line, and it would give our WRs and TEs time to work deep down field.

I could realistically see this happening to grab their new LT since the let Long go and have 2 second round picks.

Depending who you look at some people don't even have warmack as the best guard in the draft I have seen about 50/50 having cooper ahead of him

That is a tough call. I personally would probably go with the latter but I could certainly see how the former would be intriguing.

I think its okay for guards to be potato dumb. Certainly don't want that at center but I think its least important at guard. He does have to have the ability to know his position, but I don't think you have to be all that smart to play guard in the NFL, heck I could probably do it and I don't know how to read or write, I can type though.

2. Warford

If throw in some wildcards like Jamie Collins and a WR. If we got a 2nd rounder I'd love for our first 3 picks to look like this:

1. Xavier Rhodes
2. Jordan Poyer (I think he could be a beast at CB or FS)
3. A TE, maybe Kelce?
