I think this is a great idea. We will play the read option at least 4 times next year and most likely even more. Although we do need some LB depth, the scheme could of been the major reason why we got torched by the read option last year.

I thought we stopped the read-option pretty good in the playoffs last season, but couldn't cover the tight end as we all know... I'm guessing this was more of a scheme thing or was it more of Nic's inability to cover a TE?

That's what im wondering. I guess it will depend on what the team does in the Draft and then we will know. But I'd have to think scheme had a lot to do with it.
