Ian Rapaport says to expect for Saints to go after Dwight Freeney if they miss out on Nnamdi

Freeney would make no sense to me. We already have two true pass rushers in Galette and Wilson but lack to OLB who can cover as well and would play SOLB in our scheme. Freeney would be a pass rusher only and won't fit in our scheme!

John Abraham is better for the 3-4.

Freeney doesn't want to play in a 3-4, he's said it numerous times

The Saints will likely be playing a 1-gap 3-4 Over and play lots of 4 man fronts in subpackages. If Freeney wasn't to play with his hand in the dirt...I am sure the Saints would be willing to accomodate. I personally think that our three most significant needs are LT, SOLB, and FS...and the Saints have completely neglecting them thus far. I am much more concerned about those positions than WOLB.
