Does it really matter what happened with the agent and the Pats' offer?

All that really matters is that Welker can go choke in the playoffs in Denver instead of in New England.

Ouch.... Laughing

Yea, two different teams with two different offenses and coaches. No matter who performs better as a team or if Wes has a good year or not, it proves very little.

With the way Manning puts those throws over the middle, it's highly possible that by week three Welker is using a spoon with a fat handle anyway.

Anyone fluent in the compensatory pick rules?

Does Welker fit the requirements? Will we see anything next year?

We signed Amendola to a big contract so they probably cancel out. Guessing we don't get anything.

As of right now, I think the best chances for comp picks are Thomas and Chung. I believe the only signing that would hurt the Pats as far as comp picks is Svitek, as Washington and Wilson were released and Jones was an untendered RFA.
