If Luck becomes a top-3 QB (which I dont think he ever does) then yes, you have to go with him.

That being said, Luck wont become a top-3 QB.

Says the guy with a Tebow avatar.

What don't you like about Andrew Luck?

Whats wrong with my Tebow avatar? You have a problem with the only Bronco QB to win a playoff game since Jake Plummer? Waaaa waaaaa waaaa... Shut it.

Ive never been on the "Luck train" like ESPN has. I liked RGIII a hair better coming out actually but still neither as elite QB's. I think both were way overhyped and will never be a "top-3" QBs. Just my opinion. Unless something drastically changes (and they absolutely can, I cant predict the future) I dont see either one even comparing to a Matt Ryan, Ben Roethlisberger or even an Eli Manning. Luck makes way too many stupid throws for being such a smart kid. RGIII wont last another 6 years if he doesnt learn to slide or get out of bounds.

I see where you are coming from it's funny when Luck came back on the lions people went nuts they didn't omit the porous defense. But when Tebow came back against the Texans all you heard was the defense was horrible. I'm not saying people are right or wrong I'm just saying the Colts did have a cake schedule let's wait and see. I forgot to add that in that Luck had an easier schedule than RG3. The Texans Tebow comment was not saying Luck is worse than Tebow it's just saying hold your horses. I will say this the way Luck carries himself off the field is the best that I have seen since I have been a football fan for a rookie. He seems so humble in that aspect he reminds me of the greats.

Hes a very intelligent kid and looks the part of a good QB in the league. No doubt about that.

However, the hype of Andrew Luck is too soon, mainly done because of Peyton leaving Indy bla bla bla. Let him refine his skills and see if it benefits or stays stagnant. Eli Manning is one that matured quickly but Matt Stafford has not. I think Luck will fall in the middle of the two.

Eli did not mature quickly. He wasn't very good at all for his first 3-4 years.

This gets me thinking: Say PM wins a couple Superbowls with us in the next few years. At what point, if any, does he become our quarterback? Right now, it still feels like we're "borrowing" him from Indy, and I think that it will likely always feel that way. But ultimately, a QB is remembered for the championships they win. If he leads us to a couple of titles, will that make him "ours" historically?

Nah. He's always going to be a Colt, regardless of how many he wins (if any) here

You must have misunderstood the point.

Give Andrew Luck a couple years. Eli certainly progressed in 4 years, Matt Stafford has not.
