Quote:
"(After) the loss at the end, the chin is kind of dragging along the cement for a week or two," Harbaugh said at the NFL owners meetings in Phoenix.

"If this. If that. You lay awake at night thinking about it, for at least a week or two. Now, it's changed. I lay awake at night thinking about watching more tape of these guys coming up in the draft. Waking up and seeing our guys coming into the building and getting ready for the new season and already training and fired up about things."

When asked about what kept him awake when contemplating the 49ers' 34-31 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the Super Bowl, Harbaugh answered: "The obvious one. You're at the 5. You have 5 more yards to go."

In his first two seasons with the 49ers, Harbaugh exuded enthusiasm and competitiveness as the 49ers won 24 regular-season games and two NFC West championships. Now, he said, those qualities are even stronger.

"I feel more enthusiastic about it," he said. "I feel more energized, competitive. I don't know (why). I just do. They were pretty high already. I feel that way even more than when I just started."

Harbaugh was asked if the loss in the Super Bowl has contributed to that feeling.

"Probably, that and other things," he said.

Harbaugh is hell-bent on never repeating the final outcome of last year. He's going to give it his all.

He will win that Superbowl or die trying.

Vegas is about 50/50 on both options.

Harbaugh will get us another title. He is such a determined and great coach. We're lucky Singletary sucked and gave us the chance to be in the works for a new coach at the time. I love Harbaugh.

Oh this is about Harbaugh's increased desire and focus. I thought it was about him hiring a chauffer to drive him around.
