Vacarro is good, but the team doesn't value safeties in the first. As much as I liked Ogletree before the DUI, they don't like LBs in the first much either. If Patterson is there, he offers the most bang for the buck. Allen is a notch behind, but if he hadn't been injured and his brother could actually throw a football consistently, Allen's numbers would have pushed him back up boards.

Once upon a time we didn't value guards or tight ends in the first either.

Yeah, once upon a time (and history is still against it with one first rounder at each position). But until we win the superbowl and live happily ever after, I still believe the team will wait until round 2 to address those two spots. Unless they fall in love with Brown, Vaccaro, or Ogletree, I won't believe it until i see it.

They have drafted 2 LBs in the first round since Marvin got here. They don't value some positions and those positions have been our biggest weakness. I don't know if they can ignore those positions any more

Hi

We're running off between Alec Ogletree and Arthur Brown here:

Jarvis Jones had a terrible pro day. Hopefully teams get scared off. He would be an amazing asset to this defense. Doubt he drops but you never know with the draft.

I don't know if I believe it or not but pro football central is reporting we are talking to the chargers about moving up to 11 for Fluker

God I hope not. It's not Mike's MO to move up though, so hopefully that's not the case.

That's my thought. He never moves up. I hope it isn't true that's for sure

This was my reaction, I mean I have a second round grade on Fluker and I think he's an OG at the next level. But it's very likely he goes high in the draft and he may not be available at 21 so if we do want him - and assuming we don't get Andre back, I think he's far and away Mike Brown and company's top choice.

I'd far prefer taking Reid Fragel at pick 84. Anthony Collins is a solid starter, not great but I'd be comfortable with him as the RT mentoring a younger guy like Fragel.

I would be surprised because our M.O. isn't to move up in the draft but if we did Fluker would be a likely target. I just really hope we don't move up. There are plenty of viable options at 21.

The other bad aspect of that rumor is the Chargers are a tackle needy team. Why would they trade with us, so we can get an OLinemen?

They need a LT and G more than a RT though

Honey badger passed his combine drug test. I really think we should go for him round 3. I think he is a steal waiting to happen
