But Carradine won't be a SOLB as well. We have Galette as our WOLB and no one who could play SOLB.

Back to Butler, he'll resume his visit today after arriving yesterday.

At 6'4" 276lbs, with all the athletic ability in the world... If healthy Carradine can play almost anywhere in this defense's front 7. THe Saints need to land a dynamic pass rusher, a guy that simply dominates and has DWARE, ASMITH ability. Galette, Wilson and Butler (if signed) are all decent pass rushers... Carradine could be special.

It all depends on that workout... the dudes a freak!!!

A pair I'd love to see drafted by the saints are Carradine in the 1st and Corn Washington (Georgia) in the 4th.

Not suprised in the least... Butler is likely targeting two things in FA, a starting job and as much $ as he can get. The Steelers, Saints, Browns and Jets all seem like logical fits. Butler will pimp his services to all of them and whomever meets he's demands to best he'll sign with.

The Steelers and Saints have a spot for him to compete but it ain't no "hey victor your or starter" thing. Were also both low on money with many needs and a high draft pick that I'm sure he sees that we very well will draft more competition for him.

The Browns have more money to spend but no starting jobs. Sheard and Kruger has those and they also signed Groves as well.

The Jets just signed Barnes and are in maybe worse cap hell than us...

Unless the Browns offer him more money to be a backup than either us or the Steelers can offer for him to come in and compete for the job... I still see the Saints and the Steelers as the two most likely landing spots for him.

Remember how the Lofton courtship went down last year?
