The guy should have been able to compete for a starting job on a bunch of teams in this league. He's athletic and smart and played well in a role not best suited for him. Pretty decent in coverage too. Surprise he didn't get a bit more interest on the open market. Given some of the areas I want to address, I hope we didn't pay too much for him.

Would say this could also be a long-term move to replace AJ Hawk in the middle, but they couldn't be more different. I'm sure some of Hawk's restructure money allowed this move to take place.

Woot. Biggest move for us this offseason so far. But no, I'm actually very glad to have him back.
