Welcome to the forum

Free Agency outside of Winston is bad, Okoye doesn't fit the 3-4 to me, he isn't stout enough against the run. DHB's nickname isn't Drops Hella Balls for nothing, dude had one above terrible season he couldn't catch a cold in an ice storm.

Trading Cole would make little sense as we would lose cap money, so thats unlikely. The only way we can get rid of him without losing cap room is by cutting him and designating him as a post June 1st cut which would split the dead money by cutting him over the next 2 years. Unfortunatley you can't do that while trading him so he's here at least through next year.

I like the first 2 picks, then its not something I'm a fan of and/or unrealistic

Amerson is a terrible corner, could be a FS, but needs to not suck at tackling, and he sucks at tackling

Terron Armstead isn't getting out of the top 50 picks

Geathers is a nose tackle not an end, therefor drafting him and Barnes make little to no sense.

Don't hate the rest.

Particularly relevant since he traded off Cole.

And for the record, Armstead will not get out of round 2. No way that happens.

Nope, probably going to start him at SAM with Barwin playing the predator role...

We have 3 guys that are predators only, Barwin can play the SAM, he will be there.

But Trent was traded in this mock, and you could move barwin or dion over to predator

DHB doesn't deserve a quarter of the deal you're projecting. I like Winston, Okoye would be a nice backup and is still young.

No QB in the draft? New coach....definitely taking a quarterback somewhere. I like Geathers, Jordan looks great, fine with Elam. Armstead in the 3rd would be great, just don't think it will happen.

You don't play somebody somewhere just because he can play the position decently. If he's the best option at predator (which he is) you play him there. No ifs, ands or buts about it. You then go out and find your SAM. He has Cole being traded, Curry is a complete unknown and we have yet to see what Graham can do in a 3-4. Barwin had 11.5 sacks and was fantastic playing in a role where he was predominantly rushing the passer. He took a huge step back when he was moved to the weakside and was asked to drop into coverage significantly more often. We didn't bring him in on a 6 year deal to put him in a position that he doesn't fit into. Now, he may not exclusively play the predator but I think that there's we will see him most.

There's probably going to be a pretty heavy rotation since the offense should be near the bottom of the league in time of possession.

I don't know that I agree with this. Sure, statistically, his sack numbers suffered, but that doesn't mean he took a step back or wasn't playing well. With different responsibilities statistics will look different.

That said, it's entirely possible he ends up playing the Predator role. Particularly if the Eagles were to draft someone like Jordan. What we can say with some confidence is that the Eagles will use a rotation of some kind at those positions. The one thing we can almost certainly count on offensively is Chip not giving a damn about TOP. If the defense doesn't work in some sort of rotation, those guys will be gassed long before the end of the game.

Clevelands pass defense is the strength of that team I don't undersand why they would covet another CB.
