Just got a text stating that Cribbs failed his physical - some meniscus issue. Deal listed as "on hold" for now, per USA Today:

Now we know what the holdup has been. The two sides reportedly had a tentative agreement in place last Wednesday, but Cribbs never signed on the dotted line. His agent has revealed that the return man had surgery to repair his meniscus after the season and still isn't completely healed. He believes that the Cardinals will give Cribbs another physical in five weeks and if it's clean, a deal will finally go down.

Not even a "Your move San Fran/St. Louis/Seattle"? C'mon man! Laughing

If Cribbs heals in time, I think he could be a good Kick Returner for Arizona. He might not add much elsewhere on the team, but he'd be listed as the #5 WR, who doesn't see much time anyways.

wish him a speedy recovery!

Arizona, you got not only a gritty player in Alexander, but also a great locker room guy and a rock-solid community guy.

Losing him hurts. Had we not been cap penalized, he wouldn't have even hit the market.

Wish him the best.
