Trades
-Minnesota trades Percy Harvin to Seattle for their 1st & 7th
-Minnesota trades Toby Gerhart to Pittsburgh for a 6th

The Draft
1st Round

Sheldon Richardson // DT // Missouri
I think Richardson is very underrated in this draft on CBS he's ranked as te #18 prospect, but I think he'll fall to #23 & the Vikes would get a HUGE steal IMO, and he'd start day 1.

1st (From Seattle)

Cordarrelle Patterson // WR // Tennessee
It's not a secret that Minnesota needs another WR after trading Harvin. Yeah they signed Jennings, but he's going to be 30 and he's suffered some injuries the last couple seasons.

2nd Round

Manti Te'o // ILB // Notre Dame
In my opinion MLB is the Vikings biggest need along with WR & DT. I just have a feeling that Rick is going to take Te'o. So many people put way to much stock into those damn combine drills. To me Manti is one of those guys who doesn't test well but you put in some shoulder pads and that's when he's at his best. Te man is a football player, who makes a lot of big plays.

3rd Round
David Anderson // CB // NC State

4th Round (From Detroit)

TJ McDonald // S // USC
Last year they traded up in the 1st to grab Harrison Smith & look at how one man made the entire secondary look so much better. Imagine if we paired another young safety like McDonald how much more that would improve the secondary. That duo would be around for a very long time.

4th Round

Alvin Bailey // OG // Arkansas
Guard is another huge need the the Vikes Charlie Johnson & Fusco both are terrible. IMO Bailey would start day one over both of those guys & that Olsen guy they signed too. Also AP was a couple yards short of a record breaking season & both guards were below average, imagine how much better Peterson would be if had a good guard, that's a very scary thought.

5th Round

B.W. Webb // CB // William & Mary
In this division many quality corners is a must. Now that Winfield's gone their top 3 CB's on the depth chart are Cook, Robinson, & Jefferson. When Cook's healthy he's a pretty damn good corner, but that's the problem with the guy he can't stay healthy. Robinson was a rookie last year who still hasn't really proved himself, he could improve this season though. And Jefferson is at best a dime corner.

6th Round (from Pittsburgh))

Quanterus Smith // DE // Western Kentucky
Another one of these kind of prospects that I LOVE! Except unlike Hughes character concerns Smith falls because of an injury. I think he tore his ACL, not sure though. The last few seasons he was arguable one of the nations best pass rushers & would have might have been taken late in the 1st round. Robison, Allen & Griffin are all free agents at the end of the 2014 season, so I definitely think DE is a need. And Smith won't be able to play this year anyways.

6th Round

Marcus Lattimore // RB // South Carolina

7th Round (From Arizona)

Mark Harrison // WR // Rutgers

7th Round

Omoregie Uzzi // OG // Georgia Tech
Pretty much the same explanation as Bailey, Fusco & Johnson suck. Just imagine how much better AP would be is he had 2 decent guards.

7th Round (From Seattle)

Brad Wing // P // LSU

3 straight receivers is a joke right?

Also not sure why people think that Sherels, Sendejo, and Kropog won't be back at least for camp. They are ERFA's and very cheap. Stephen Burton also isn't going to be a guy who's released until the last round of cuts, if at all.

Larry Dean isn't a free agent. Robert Blanton and McLeod Bethel-Thompson being released is also a head scratcher.

Not bad. Personally not a fan of Sly in the 1st at all. Feel the value would be better taking a LB in the 1st and a DT in the 4th instead. Maybe that's because I like Brown, Ogletree & Minter more than Bostic. Love Hunter & Swope. Would be fine with Allen in the 2nd. Love the Uzzi pick as well.

you're going mock crazy!! Do you want me to use this one or your last one in my thread?

...Also, we definitely wont go 3 WR's in a row. I would take Swope out of there.

Seems like you went overboard with the WRs there. Also, who do you expect to return kicks with Sherels and Harvin gone?

I love the DJ Moore signing though. Perfect successor to Winfield.

I see what you're doing now...

Sneaky! Selecting a bunch of WR's in the hopes that we take one of them and you get points in VNC11's game!

Sly! Laughing

Definitely this one. The other one in your thread is from the beginning of Feb & needed to be updated.

Ha I like the fact that all your free agent signing have the last name Moore. That said, I would love to get those three guys.

How about an OL or something in the third round? I think it is awfully bullish to think you will get two immediate starting guards that late in the draft.

3 straight WR's is a stretch, but I've seen crazier things, so we'll role with it. My biggest question is why would Jacksonville do this trade. Obviously, Harvin is worth the trade, but I cannot see it in Jacksonvilles best interests to complete the trade. From the sounds of things, there is a good chance that Geno Smith, or any QB for that matter, is not in their future as far as their first round pick. They are, however, skeptical about if they will be sticking with Blaine Gabbert, and are going to look for other options, most likely through the draft. I see them using their 2nd round pick on the best QB available. Either way, I think they have bigger holes to fill than WR, and thus trading for one isn't the best course for them.

I completely understand why a trade with J-Town would be in our interest, being that the 33rd pick in the draft might as well be a first round selection, but I do not see them being willing to pull the trigger.

I'm confused you have us using our second first rounder from Seattle to trade down but you have us trading harvin to the jags so how would we even have that first rounder from seattle.

I'll probably chance the picks one more time before the draft starts.

Way too many character risks for this to be realistic. Tryann Matheiu, Marquess Wilson, Montori Hughes, and Baccari Rambo are very unlikely to even be on Spielman's board, but to draft all four, its a stretch.

Several players will be drafted much higher than you have like Michael and Quanterus Smith.
